Mistarious Dinging noise from Armour Hardeners

Hello; Ive noticed that while flying with Armour Hardeners on, I can hear a faint rythemitic two tone dining noise, like someone plucking the same bass guitar strings over and over again...

I've isolated it to the hardeners, by turning things on and off... and It's definatly them. Is there any way I can turn this off, as the sound is doing my head it, it's so annoying.

"Two tone dining noises" are caused by eating contrasting colours of food. Try to stick to plainer foodstuffs, such as gruel or porridge.

Hit ESC, Go to Audio and Turn all sounds down. Problem Solved.

Hahaha. I 'd rather not turn the resto of the sounds off... Prehaps program a tone reballancer for the particular frequence?

Can you imagine the length of the sound menu if you were to separate out all the sounds in Eve Online to be able to toggle them on/off? Heh...and people think the overview has too many settings! I can see the forum posts now:

Have you considered the possibility that you may be suffering from tinnitus? I know Eve has many older (mature) players and some are reaching even the age of pensioners so I think it's a good idea for CCP to raise awareness for the older generation of gamers and I think everyone should respect old people except when they're jerks.

I'd have to say it on OP's end, ran various hardeners on several separate computers, never heard anything. and if there was a sound, i'd hear it, have hearing sensitive enough that being in the same room as a tube tv makes me physically ill.
