Hi all,

We have been following your various threads and wishlist and and in today's Sisi update, you will be seing a few Little things changes from Team Super Friends and Team Pirate Unicorns.

CCP Punkturis returned back to work to give you some nice things:
  • guest List in stations can be viewed in compact mode
  • Guest list tab has a counter to show you how many pilots are in the station
  • Guest list can be searched similar to search in hangars
  • You can now assign a label when you add a contact
  • You can now have multiple Kill Reports open at a time. You open a Kill Report in a new window by holding down shift when it's opened (note: this is already possible for Show Info windows and saved fitting windows).
  • Orbital bodies in the Show Info window will now have a more functional right click menu, as will many other items in the Info windows

CCP Merc and myself have also been working on a few things
  • You can now specify words to filter out in chat, and also words to hightlight. You can choose to have the highlighted words always blink the chat tab, even though the channel is set "Blink Off"
  • The "Consume" right-click option on drugs has been promoted, and is now towards the top of the menu
  • The "Fitting" tab in the Show Info window has been given a bit of a facelift
  • The capacity of the bays of your current ship is now displayed in a bar in the Show Info window
  • The Directional Scanner has now 2 input fields (km and AU) and a slider for range input. The 3 inputs are connected so when one is changed, the other ones update.
  • The angle slider in the D-scanner as been changed so it's non-linear and has even steps to make it easier to select the lower angles

We have a few things we are still working on... some of which I think many of you will be quite interested in so please stay tuned.

Please test out these things and tell us what you think and please let us know if you find something that's brokenBig smile

Known issues (fixed internally):
  • Entering numbers in the AU field in D-scan is a bit broken (but the wheel works fine)

I realy appreciate these little things.
But why aren´t you posting this in Features & Ideas? It´s there where the Team posts the upcoming changes, and I´m always looking there to see the them.
I only occasionally look into the Test Server Feedback-Area and I´m sure a lot of other people miss this part of the Forum

Sorry for going a bit off-topic. What?

Something that's been bugging me about the chat system for ages is the settings only apply for the channel window they're set in. I have to make the member list compact and hide portraits on every single chat window I use. (the timestamp setting is the only setting that gets applied to everything!) It would be nice if there was global settings that I could have applied once to everything then each chat but not remove the ability to have different settings for certain chats.

You made inserting implants no longer manual pausing of skill training. So could you try make it so jump clones not need training to be paused to activate one? I totally have not discovered a couple of days after using a jumpclone that my skill queue was paused. Oops

because we are asking for feedback on the things we have implemented, and would like you to test out on the Test Server so it belongs in the Test Server section.

How about the reload/reactivation timer that everyone has been asking for for ages, and Fozzie said he would investigate?

good news, can't wait to test all those.

also, would it be possible that one little thing could be looked at too (iknow it might not do it for this update, but still)?

the auto sensor overlay.

this overlay is shiny cool and very usefull, but ONLY when i do something related to the anoms / sigs.

in most of the other activitys, like mining, hauling, moving, fighting, missioning (wich for me and probably many others, is 90%+ of what we do in eve), having it showing is useless, and can even in some occasions be counter-productive.

so would it be possible that the following change be introduced:

sensor overlay is ON : keep it as it is now (perfect)

sensor overlay is OFF: it doesn't show EVER, whether i undock or change system or whatever i do

i mean, when i turn the oven off, i don't expect it to start preheating every time i enter the kitchen, just because i "could" enter the kitchen with the intent to bake a cake.

beside improving many pilots life, it would be consistent

Came in from Feature and ideas.... :D, great things.

Especially "You can now assign a label when you add a contact"

But while you are @ it, can we please get an auto label filtered label with all NON LABELED contacts, so we can label them, thx.

Secondly I like to sneak in a forum post I made recently in "[Rubicon 1.3] Corporation Member Cap Increase" and "Little Things"

Thx!
