Wormholes

I am going to do an item on SYJ. I finished 2 interviews with SYJ guys and I am waiting for the invaders to tell their side of the story but only 1 guy has responded so far, others have not returned my requests, so I would give SYJ props for being the ones talking openly about their situation and the invaders are speculating at this point.

Should have i not taken notes? Thought this was gonna be on the final.

only thing I have to add is while SYJ may be lowseccers now, the hole they came through for the fight, supported by brave newbies, was in lowsec

had they brought a 90 man t3 fleet, as I heard they were capable of fielding one, they might have won, or at least got a crapton of kills

as for all the talk and misinformation, saying they don't care about the wormhole etc. - it's just common **** talk and defense, from both sides. IMHO this whole thing is not about getting ISK or making an epic eviction story, or getting great fights. It's about kicking pell in the nuts for his various statements... for me, it's just something to do instead of jerking off in my hole.

A couple of years ago -A- made a big public splash about how they were deploying some of their pilots into w-space and how they were going to change the face of w-space. Everyone banded together and kicked them out, that actual siege of their systems was not noteworthy, but everyone recalls the blunder of making that public statement and how it unified w-space. This event will be remembered the same, the siege is nothing out of the ordinary, the fight will be credited to BNI but everyone will remember the facepalming AMA from Pell.

Btw SYJ had bunch of capitals logged off in the WH during the fight and chose not to use them, so you can hardly complain about that.

So here you are complaining that you weren't invaded previously... While that's kind of true (we never invaded you, but beat you otherwise), at the same time the reason for the invasion happened after you moved out. If you didn't want this to happen, you should've stayed in your cozy little low sec scrub castle and shut up about being the kings of wormhole space who could evict us all without breaking a sweat. Just what exactly did you expect would happen after claims like that?

Fact is, you have no moral high ground to stand on, just like you have no right to complain about what's going on. You reap what you sow...

So what if they did go to deep safes? We don't live there anymore, there was nothing worth fighting over, nor did we have a proper sub cap fleet to fight yours. Did anything about our "attack" last night even seem serious to you? We had T1 Cruisers with T1 fits.

Ah yes the reason to invade was because big bad Pell said "Something" on the internet. If "hubris" was a crime you should probably line up half your allies last night against the wall too while you're at it. Let's be serious here. SYJ was pretty much THE end game in W-space. I haven't been part of SYJ for long so I don't claim any of that for myself but I've known Pell for a while, I keep in contact with quite a few people both openly and covertly, some of which were even in your fleet last night, not just as grunts, but leadership, so I have a pretty good idea of things as a whole.

And all this was, was a group of beta wolves scratching at the feces of the alpha wolf and claiming that they usurped his position in the pack. And you can dispense the koolaid any other way about this and how Pell is a terrible person and he said this and that and man we're so sad inside about Bastion. But that's for you guys alone. Nobody else buys it, nobody else cares.



First off, no you didn't. The only KB report I saw last night was from one of you guys showing a 30 v 10 fight that you "won." SYJ's kb history is littered with the memory of wormhole alliances being evicted and crushed. The only entity I saw last night that could claim something similar was maybe Verge of Collapse.

And nobody said "we didn't want this." That's the thing. We're extremely quite OK with everything as it went down. I feel bad for the handful of euro guys that stayed in Bastion. But at the same time I think they're going to enjoy what we've been doing in lowsec a lot more considering most of w-space is inconsequential chest beating at the moment. I mean you had the "big names of w-space uniting to evict...a handful of remnants of SYJ and some abandoned towers" and acting like it was some major accomplishment. Great job. I honestly didn't even think THAT highly of SYJ until these last few days.

I'm sitting here thinking "wow, Pell must have wrecked some people's space dreams for this sort of thing to happen and for people to feel so good about it."



@ Rubba Dub Dub, pretty much spot on. But I think provoking these guys to hit our euros so they come to lowsec is giving Pell a little TOO much credit.
