Cant connect to server or eve website

As of yesterday afternoon I got dropped in the middle of a mission. Tried to relog but launcher says server is unavailable and tried to get info about on website but couldnt connect to eve site, other sites work fine. Today at work ask a friend who also plays he said he also couldn't log. Right now on phone haven't retried computer, any ideas why server and website would be funky?

Your phone may or may not be using the local WiFi (could be using cellular data network). Your computer is using the local network. That would explain why your phone can reach the forums but your computer cannot. Most likely something is now blocking access to the CCP servers. That something could be:
  • local on your PC like "Internet Security" software
  • local network like your on-premise router or (unlikely) modem
  • neighborhood ISP
  • inter-regional network interlink


Since you and your coworker both had a similar outage at the same time, determine what you and s/he have in common.

You have some sleuthing to do.

Being a technician myself I already tried stuff like reseting router/modem, checking settings, nothing on my computer for along time. As far connection between my cowrker and myself, diffrent isp providers, simlar location, about 10 miles apart, same time.

Very helpful info Strumwolke, I was thinking DDoS but cold not find any news about in my searching except for last years attack ccp server.

Cant wait to to get home n check connection.

Hello,

I'm also having and issue connecting. It says server is Online. But when it's trying to connect and authenticate it says;

"Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong"

It happened just today. I was doing fine till then. I restarted the router, the pc. And no firewall blockage. What might be the reason?

works fine now, i hope it was feedback form the ddos attacks or something crazy.
