How about an A.U. gage on your POD so you can see how far you have traveled! or on your ship. It would be awesome to see my ships A.U.'s traveled and be able to do a start/stop and reset and total LOL.

How about you draw some mock-ups of the interface with such a thing integrated, and explain in detail what exactly it would do and where it would be accessed and so on LOL.

no i think this is a bad idea as it's of no use to anyone in any situation that i can imagine

What is "total LOL"? It's not a unit of measure that I'm familiar with.

However, having an odometer on a ship would be amusing. It would be nice to know how far you've traveled in it before it goes boom.
