Dark Ochre description says that it has most nocxium in it.

Dark Ochre gives one nocxium / 6,6 m3 rock.

Jaspet gives one nocxium / 3,9 m3 rock.

Hedbergite gives one nocxium / 4,3 m3 rock.

Jaspet gives the best nocxium / m3 ratio. Price of nocxium has risen alot and as result I noticed this kind of issue. Dark Ochre is even rare and hard to find rock.

Perhaps everything here is as it is ment to be but I was thinking to bring this issue up.

Stealth Buff Dark Ochre Nocxium Content thread?

CODE is just a bunch of pirates; smart, organized pirates. It doesn't help to rage at them because that is exactly what they want. Dust yourself off and get back on your feet, you don't even have to talk to them.

Are you taking into account the minimum amount needed to refine vs the amount of Nocx?

Yes I bought rocks from market. Put them on refinery. Opened calculator.

Jaspet had quantity 500 and volume 1000 m3 and it produced 251 nocxium.
1000 m3 / 251 = 3,9 m3 / nocxium

Dark Ochre had quantity 400 and volume 3200 m3 and it produced 484 nocxium
3200 m3 / 484 = 6,6 m3 / nocxium

Ok, so were not sure what it is you want here. You just showed proof that Dark Ochre has the most Nocx, just not by m3. Are you requesting that the wording be changed in the ore description to reflect that it contains the most Nocx by refineable batch?

Dark Ochre has a higher amount of noxcium which takes more space and is in a larger ratio.
Therefore the description of having the most noxcium is wrong.

All I know about rocks is, that you aren't supposed to smoke them.

(note to self, maybe that's why miners are so crazy?)

Actually the confusion in the mining numbers makes for great spreadsheet practice/competition and isn't that what its all about?

Dark Ochre contains more nocxium, but in a larger space, so it's a less dense distribution, hence the smaller amount per m^3. Jaspet on the other hand has less nocxium but in a smaller space, e.g. a more dense distribution, so again, that is why you get the larger amount per m^3, since that's your constant.

If you did the math you could find out how much Jasper nocxium is equal to Dark Ochre nocxium if you're in a pinch and can't find any Ochre 'roids.

Now if you don't mind, I'm going back to my ice.

I mine so you can have the fuel to run your POS.

Have you thanked a miner today?

the description says higher ratio but doesn't give the second relative quantity

if you think the description is outdated, write a bug report

Ahh I remember when I used to do that kind of stuff, with calculators and spreadsheets and all.

Then I moved out to low/null. It turns out hunting targets and pew pewing them is a lot more fun.
