10/10 to CCP for the battle of Yulai. This was an excellent example to
all involved (I hope) of how to organise and execute a small scale fleet
battle. If CCP could do this weekly or bi-weekly it would pull more new
pilots into PvP.

It was great. I had no real idea what went on and I got podded but god damn what it fun.

Saving up for a new rifter to do it all again.

I caught wind of this as just "CCP organizing a PvP thing, go here" and flew out to Duripant in a T2 fit Vexor. When I discovered it was a rookie event, I put together a completely T1 fit Tristan to fly along. I ended up pretty much just zooming around the battle once it was joined, only fully engaging folks that had come in non-frigate ships. And ISD Rontea once he started shooting at me...

CCP Logibro did a great job explaining things to the newer players, and showed them a lot of fundamental concepts I imagine they'll find useful in the game. Props to ISD Wolvesmind as well for handing out piles of ships to people to fight in. Everyone seemed to have a great time, the rookies were excited getting to blow up some fellows Jaguar as well.

I took a few screenshots of the event, although I neglected to take many once things kicked off.

I just noticed the first primary call was on Alfentanil. Ouch.

That was my Jaguar - had 13 pilots take me down - great fun though!

If any of you who were involved can contact me ingame I would greatly appreciate it, like to know more about this event to make a newsreport about it (added Lenell & MadMcMax to my contactlist temporary)

Mainly looking for chatlogs/Killboardlists from both sides and also a description of the event (how was it sold, seems as caldari vs (gallente?)

Hope some of you can help me!

Thanks CCP for a great event. This one went off very well and it was a lot of fun. I am glad I was able to attend and walk about with a few KMs too.

Boy no wonder I didn't hear of this. Its not like a forum that has enough activity to check on. Iss that wwhere they announced it events? How often do they have events anyhow? Once every 6 months?
