not sure which internets it is acceptable for the main trade hub of the game to be so regularly inaccessable...

Maybe you should do something??!

oh, yes. It's a total mystery to me why CCP haven't waved their MAGIC FRAKKING WAND and made everything perfect.

Or maybe the problem has to do with the fact that Jita is already right up against the limit of what can be done with the available hardware and every time they expand its capacity, players keep flooding in there until it hits its limit again.

It couldn't possibly be that the problem's not actually possible to solve, could it?

Why no! That notion is for people who live in the REAL WORLD, where servers aren't powered by pixie dust and dreams.

w/e fanboi, like they aren't responsible for the function and maintenance of their own game.

Pretty sure I already did by dropping a nice little forum bomb on the eve-o jackoff, thx for replying so now at least I know the CSM is aware of this issue.

How about being an elected representative instead of a forum fanboi + toughhguy Malcanis?

Allow me to explain this in simple terms:

You have a bucket. somebody with a hosepipe starts pouring water into it until it fills up. They then get angry at you when the water overflows and they can't keep putting more water into the bucket.

So you buy a bigger bucket. Again, they keep pouring water in and again it fills up. Again they complain.

And so it goes. you buy the biggest bucket in the world, pioneer new technology that pushes the absolute limits of what is possible in terms of bucket technology, and still this person with their hosepipe keeps bitching at you and calling it your fault that the bucket is full

Here's the thing- in order to meet the demand, that bucket would need to be able to contain all the water on the planet. It's unreasonable to expect it to ever be big enough. But still, Mr. Hosepipe keeps pumping, and then keeps yelling at you for providing an unsatisfactory bucket experience.

The problem is not the bucket. The problem is the jerk with the hosepipe.

Hence why I'm not surprised that CCP haven't waved their magic wand and caused the impossible thing you're demanding to happen. The experience isn't sub-par, your expectations are unrealistic.

nice one, but i have no hose, and my expectations are what they are, I dont offer a forum for people to complain about it, and i dont charge people money to log in and play.

I dont care how good they are at server tech, if the experience is crap its crap, your defense of them and explanation are not relevent to me.

FIX IT, STOP MAKING EXCUSES.

also, jita isnt the entire earth of data, so while i get your analogy, its 2200 ppl in a chat channel and docked at a station. not the ENTIRE GLOBE of data.

There are four other hubs that can be used. Amarr, Rens, Hek and Dodixie. Why not use one of them instead? Roll

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

Go somewhere else?

I just blew my own mind with that suggestion.

maybe im docked and logging in in jita and they didnt give me the oppourtunity to be transported there did they?

they said a bunch of systems right next door to jita..

WOW AN IDEA

MAYBE GIVE PPL THE OPTION TO BE MAGICALLY TRANSPORTED TO A DIFFERENT TRADE HUB INSTEAD OF ON THE PORCH OF JITA?!

OMG WHY HAVENT CCP THOUGHT OF THIS IN 11 YEARS?

too busy building better server tech to figure out basic mechanics

I get the feeling that this particular bro is in a state of great emotional anguish.

Good you considered the possibility that you might run out of water before the bucket fills in your logic wall of text.

The problem is self-perpetuating. If CCP removed the population limit, people would no longer feel the need to log in ASAP after downtime to "secure a place" even if they didn't actually intend to use Jita.

can't get into jita?
I can't log-in for more than 3 mins before socket closed.
Petition 13 days and waiting :(

P.S. Fanboys will tell you to deal with it or suggest a workaround instead of actually asking CCP to fix it.

I agree Billy.
