Cloaking and bigger ships

Bigger ships should take longer to cloak than smaller ships. I mean, seriously...

A carrier cloaks as fast as an itty-bitty frigate? It'd make sense if the cloak module was broken down into S, M, L, and XL ... but it isn't. So the idea of some tiny module making some kind of light-bending field that covers a massive carrier or titan as effectively as a frigate is just absurd.

So let's get on it, dev team.

Either make cloaks sized for ship class, or make ships take longer to cloak the larger they are!

Flame on, people! Let's talk about this serious Internet spaceship business.

Larger and slower ships are obviously easier for other ships to bump and decloak, and this already balances the instantaneous nature of cloaking devices somewhat.

Thank you.

Awww... did you fail to probe down a ratting carrier before it could safe and cloak?

How about simply changing the speed of cloaking for each type of cloaking device? T1 should be the slowest, the t2 should be quicker, the higher the meta, the quicker the cloak. The cov ops cloak should remain unaffected due tot he fact that there are only a few choice hulls that can fit it anyways.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Yeah, basically this.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.
