when I get podded? what about jump clones?

Nothing, when you get podded the clothes will be available in your customization window. If you switch clones you will have to redress to see it in CQ.

The clothes contain special chips which detect when you explode and broadcast back the info to NEX HQ who then contacts the cloning company and delivers them a parcel with new clothes the cloning company then delivers them to you. This all takes place in a fraction of a second.

Everyone is completely naked in his pod, only covered with pod goo. Your clothes are securely stored away at a safe at some major starbase. Nex clothes cost more than several battleships and are thus far to precious to transport them anywhere. After all, for the price of one pair of boots you could buy yourself an entire planet....
