I do think it's cool they are putting a section on the monument for Eve players who have passed on.

Well thats another load of money spent on something that has nothing at all to do with Eve players flying in space.

If Hilmar wants to blow the spare money he has left over after buying all his $1000 pants , thats his prerogative, but it really has nothing at all to do with Eve players.

Probably was a mistake to expect something that wasn't related to, well, the community. Which this is.

I agree with the monument being awesome, but... still.. really, CCP? Way to make some of us actually not care about this thing now.

They really should have done something like this. I know internet spaceships are "serious business" but making a statue to me is kinda ridiculous. They might as well had made it ridiculous and awesome.

Make it Hilmar, in nordic garb with a sword stretched out to the heavens, riding a Rifter like a horse, and firing lasers from his eyes.
