If a player were, by some chance able to get enough bits could they claim to have a complete "steve" or would such a goal be useless to pursue?

Considering Steve was a ship that exploded, and each Piece of Steve is... a piece... of Steve, then, logically, in order to rebuild the entire Steve, you would need all the pieces.

Divide the average price of a piece of Steve with 120 billion ISK and you would have an estimate of how many units - but then I think actually managing to sell all those units to begin with in order to obtain a Steve would be the hard part.

So you're prolly better off keeping those pieces and just collect ISKies directly.

And if CLS could have done that to rebuild steve, they'd have done so a long time ago lol.
CCP has steve listed as being owned by ASCN which isn't quite correct, it was built, owned and lost by Celestial Horizon Corp. who were one of the main corps in ASCN, CLS also built the very first outpost in eve, and was also on the first ever titan killmail generated by self destruct while under agression.

How many pieces of wire do you need before you can rebuild the motor it came from? Answer: no amount is enough, because you will have none of the magnets, laminations, or bearings. Parts of Steve were vaporized in its explosion. They are not pieces you can have as those parts just do not exist as anything other than individual atoms that have long since blown out of the solar system in the solar wind.

Again, we are immortal and have FTL tech along with the ability to obtain individual atoms.

So yeah, seems like a good eon project to do

I'm hoarding my pieces of Steve. For the right price, though, I will consider letting them go.

I destroyed my piece of Steve, so Steve will never be complete again. Let Steve rest in peace.
