Ship Disappeared? :(

Hello everyone,

I'm pretty new to EVE, I think I'm at about a week or so into my first character. Yesterday I was doing missions for an agent when the agent required me to mine some ore. So I decided to use my Venture instead of my Catalyst.

Here's what I did... I'm not sure if what I did caused it, or a glitch of some sort...

I left my ship at a Dock in Luse.
Undocked my capsule.
Then used my capsule to port back to Clellinon.
Got into my Venture.
Ported back to do mission.

Now the interesting thing to me is that ONLY the ship is gone. All of its cargo and attachments went into the inventory at the Luse Dock.

If someone could explain all this I would appreciate it. I'm not too upset about the ship, it was given to me for free in the tutorial missions but I would still like to know just so I don't do it again.

You are looking in the items hangar? Try looking in the shop hangar.

Its not in my assets. I've checked both ports that I have stuff at.

Did you accidentally repackage or reprocess the ship?
Unless you reprocessed it, it should still be in the ship hangar.

I mean I'm not gonna say that I didn't somehow someway do that... I seriously doubt it though... all I remember doing was leaving the ship and then undocking with my capsule ship-thing.

If I did do that, would I be able to see it in like the transaction history or something?

If you had reprocessed it, there would be a bunch of different minerals in your assets with all of the modules and cargo.

If you had trashed it, you won't have any minerals.

If you had sold it, you would have had to repackage it first which would strip all the modules from the ship and place them in the Items Hangar. Can check Transactions record in your wallet to see if it was sold.

I guess that must have been what happened. There's 6 different minerals in my hanger that I'm pretty sure I didn't put there.
