Not exactly.

Once accepted, a mission also has an expiring date before which you must complete it or you get the same penalty.

Okay, the timelimit is something like 4 weeks or so, so likely you wont run into it.

Doh, what was I thinking. Missions last 1 week (arc missions last forever).

Thanks for the correction J'Poll. Memory is the second thing to go (I don't remember the first).

Dang.. can i use the active all in one resist mod ? i sen them.. they offer a wide spread over the resists.. but i understand not as great as the focused resists.. but as i se it. my talwar has limited slots for the job..
Depends on the mission, your ship, and the available slots.

However, there is no passive "resist all" module, the Adaptive Invulnerability field is an active module which will use capacitor. On an active tanked Talwar, that's a bad idea, as the capacitor drain will hurt you more than you gain from the resists. Therefore, stick to passive hardeners, which always offer resists against one specific resist. Against Serpentis this would be Thermal. (Because they do kinetic and thermal damage and your base thermal resist is lower.) Active hardeners are better suited for passive tanked ships and bigger ships with more capacitor. (When your Large Shield Booster uses 40 GJ/s, the 3.2 GJ/s for an active hardener are much less noticeable.)

Or you could fit that Sensor booster and "tank" by simply being too far away to take damage. This seems to be popular with Talwars, but I've never flown one myself.

Where in my post did I say anything about marriage?

nowhere, it was implied by taking a swipe at those of us who Co-habit.

Again, has nothing to do with co-habitation. Stop projecting.

You can sit on a mission for a week, regular missions, yes. I did this recently on a bonus mission with my alt. Two timers on the description, one for completion and the other for bonus. You just lose the bonus if the timer ends on that. Sister of eve epic arc there is no completion timer, my alt sat on one mission for six months. Abandoning any active mission results in standings loss.

Declining a mission and abandoning a mission are two different actions. Declining a mission offer counts against you for four hours, if you take another mission in that time frame and decline that one too, you lose standing. If they are FW missions, you can decline missions all you want, there is no penalty so you can get the desired missions.

meh ded 4 in a destroyer, destroyers are no good vs a BS from my experience. Your only real option is to use an AF in that case, and with pretty good skills. Otherwise cruiser or BS for running DED. Destroyers are mainly effective against frigates. I even have problems on my alt running regular lvl2's with a destroyer (FW missions are one level easier), at about 6m SP. The only thing that works well on lvl2's seem to be a sniping destroyer at that SP. Up close I use blasters and a medium shield booster, a cap booster and a cap recharge rig, then whatever. Even then, my destroyer has problems vs 30 rat frigs at the same time (meh cormorant not enough mids), retreating every two minutes when the cap depletes.

Light missiles you are kiting, so you need speeed a bit like how the sniper works but just afterburner will do while snipers use mwd. But both are meta tanking the general same way, using distance to avoid damage. IMO I'd dump the missiles for rockets, mwd straight in hehe. In fact I'm about to dump in another million SP so I can get my alt some rockets for the corax and hookbill. I've flown a hookbill with this character a long time with missiles, really nice results for a sub-T2, especially with the ability to functionally mount double webs.

GF's aren't for that. You over complicate your life hehe.

Well you just try-try again until you get the lvl2. They don't scram you at that level so you can warp out and back in as much as it takes.... which is good practice. As long as you can kill one or two rats by the time you need to warp, you should have no problems completing the mission. So, best thing to do is use eve-survival to check the mission description, fit as you need for that mission. If you are offered a mission that you don't want, you can easily refuse the offer and check with another agent for something else. Some stations will have two agents to accept missions from at the same mission level, at least on lower level missions. When you start doing lvl4's, often you would need to travel far to get another mission agent or do something else if you don't want to chance a second offer or drag your BS 12 jumps. That's generally why I keep a couple frigs in station with my mission BS, then jump into the frig to screw around if I pass on a mission.
