I've been googling for a bit now looking for an answer, but maybe the community can help. Is there a way to move my UI settings and key bindings between two accounts, and other characters on one account?

Yes, but it is a bit tricky.

Once you are in the Eve folder, go to the folder that has your instal path for the GUI you want to export *this assumes you have several instals of eve, such as myself* and then to the settings folder. In there, you will find a file named core_char_#######.dat

All you need to do is copy that file over. If you have several accounts running from the same install, all you have to do is change one, or take it out and save it elsewhere, and then log your toons, see which one loses it's config.

Found the core_char_xxxx.dat files at Appdata\local\ccp\eve\f_eve_tranquility\settings

I'm going to copy one at a time until I find the one I want by logging in and out of that character. I wonder what this file controls, if my training will be skewed or cause some crashes with the alternate characters.

Theres 4 core_char files, and I have 4 characters, so that makes sense.

Date modified shows two modifications today, and I've only logged in two characters. I should be able to narrow it down to one with the time by logging in and out, I think.

I successfully transferred only the color scheme I selected by copying over the core_char files with the alternate characters numbers. The key bindings and contacts and bookmarks did not copy.

So this method failed to accomplish what I wanted. Which is mainly to copy over my key bindings to my alternate characters.

Does anyone else have any suggestions or understand how this can be done, please?
