My story is a sad but simple one. After being scammed on a market deal for 4bil isk I had nothing to lose.

I turned to Blink.

All day I would Blink and all night I would Blink.

Blink has taken over my life.

But, Blink is good Big smile

Since finding happiness in Blink I have found many others with an addiction to Blink too.

In the last few weeks I have won A carrier and a Dreadnaught. The skill books required to fly both.

I buy plex through the link on Somer's home page and play with the blink credit given. I have one 3 ships that I have had delivered. The rest I turn into blink credit to play more. I have exchanged 100mil isk once for blink credit.

I just won a Tengu, more than doubles my actual ISK investment.

Bl!nk is awesome! Let's get to 70T!

So... in considering my various options for buying gametime, I get referred to Blink by Eve News 24, and conclude that getting 500 mil of credit when I buy four GTCs isn't half-bad. Play through it, get back about 440 mil of ships... and, being fairly pleased with another Eve-related thing I can feasibly be doing from my ancient laptop at work, not to mention the possibility of 'getting completely free stuff off the promo blinks', decide to burn one of those GTCs on PLEX, which I convert to ISK, which I spend on blink.

Put one billion isk in.

Get back exactly one Hawk, and nothing else at all.

...

Needless to say, very dissatisfied; would not play again. Sad

Sorry to hear you've had such a bad run on your first go - sadly, that is the nature of gambling.

But, there's good news!

Since you have deposited 1b, you're actually now eligible for promos for life. No further depositing or ISK expense ever needed. And, with our 70T celebration hitting any time now, it's a good time to turn those losses around.

We've increased the size and amount of promos for each celebration event - at 60T, we gave away over 180B worth of stuff for free, and 70T will be bigger yet!

So, while I understand how much a loss of that size can hurt - I urge you to still swing in to the site to win stuff on the free. You may as well use those tokens, afterall! :)

Eh, might as well. Not like I can do anything else with the promo tokens, after all. Perhaps ironically, while I came over here to complain about such an awful losing streak, an achievement ticked over... since I've been refreshing on a regular basis to check for promos anyways throughout my shift today, I apparently qualified for 'day job', and got another 25 mil of credit... with which I won another Hawk.

Still not great, but marginally less dissatisfied, now. Maybe I'll win something worthwhile when you start giving stuff away during the promos, and that might change my opinion, I suppose.
