Tangible loss is a big part of why I pvp. I want to take the other guys stuff. I don't want him to have it. I want to light it on fire while he mourns it's loss. Ultimately if PVP became just a big money free free for all I'd probably drop this game like a bad habit. Why? Because once we've brought it down to the level of a constant running deathmatch, there are simply better games for that. Considerably better.

Eve has two things going for it,old mud/early mmo style consequences, and pretty spaceships. It doesn't have good or engaging gameplay. In fact I'd go as far to say that the worst part about eve online is actually having to play it.

So because you miss 95% of what the game is about, it should be changed, when you already got an alternative?

Have fun on the testserver! You wont be missed.

Of course. That's what it's for.

I still wouldn't want to live there.

Not unlike Las Vegas.

On singularity Loss isn't meaningful.

^^ This.

Without the possibility of a painful loss the fight is emotionally flat.

PvP is for the adrenaline rush.

Adrenaline is the PvPer’s drug.

PvPers are drug addicts, can’t live on Singularity.
