NOWHERE in the EULA does it say Skillpoints are a pilots RIGHT!

Next thing you know they'll be some bloated bureaucratic committee saying you can't fly this or that ship!

DO YOU WANT A PANEL OF OUT OF TOUCH IDIOTS DENYING CRITICAL SP NEEDS?!?!

Yes, then a wave of illegals (new alts) would serge across the border demanding their share of the pie. Ccp could then just hand out millions of plex to Somer so that he could help out the little guy, and buy no means get rich off of the coffer...

It's even funnier when you realize his initials spell "Sto", which is Russian for "What?!"

OP is not even trying to hide the fact that they are, in reality, making a post about their own real life political views in the EvE forums which, IIRC, violates at least one or more EULA rules.

Request GM lock, delete and burn this thread. Thanks!

Hey, the Affordable Skills Act is about EvE and nothing else. If you like your skills, you can keep them. If you like your skill queue, you can keep it. And why do you detractors keep talking about Biomass Panels? The Booster Party is just a bunch of nutjobs, don't believe their rhetoric! Long live the Affordable Skills Act!

Equality isn't funny, do you think people enjoy starting a new game like EVE and spending YEARS dying just because they have inequal skillpoints?

You are a sad hateful little man, I bet you enjoy attacking puppies.

i didn't spend years dieing.

Money at its root is a form of rationing. When the richest 85 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion (50% of humanity) it is clear where the source of poverty is. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jan/20/trickle-down-economics-broken-promise-richest-85

Given that CCP can inject skill points into the economy, why don't we just pump unallocated skill points into the skill queues of the the bitter vets (100+ million skill points) and let the skill points trickle down to the unwashed masses? CCP can taper off the injected skill points once PvP is equalized.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Not sure I see the problem here ....

- In EVE -----> if you have the real life cash you can go to the character bazaar and buy yourself a character with as many zillion skill points as you like without studying, use your ISK to get influence in a major alliance and buy as many ships and alts as you want.

- in the US ---> if you have the real life cash get a honorary university degree without study and a position with the tea party on congress along with several cars a house with a swimming pool (cheap since the GFC) and a cute younger trophy wife.

Same deal really.

You're pretty much describing egalitarianism which is definitely not analogous to the ACA by any stretch of the imagination. Good try though.

Not sure if trolling.

So, you want to reward people who neglect their skill queue or forget to update their clone by giving them free skillpoints? Isn't it enough that your government is already doing something similar for you? Equality doesn't exist. We are NOT created equal. Some of us have talent, and some of us don't.

Oh, but America says otherwise. Everyone is completely equal. If not, those better will be nerfed. We all get a trophy, cuz wwe are all perfect. Up with Skillpoint Redistribution!

everyone is equal, unless your a minority that the US swears exists in well-defined adn inescapable orders, in which case you must be treated extra special because being a minority means your not as capable as everyone else and shoudl therefore receive free money and discount college payed for by the people already struggling to pay their bills because it would be mean and immoral to ask rich people to give up some of their money, after all, sitting on a beach in the carribean for 4 months out of the year means you deserve your 30milion a month more than those dirty peasants working 50 hours a week at a job slowly killing them physically deserve their minimum wage.

i think i may have gotten off topic there, what was this thread about? inciting political arguements right?

Death Panels.

"I'm sorry, you left your character with an empty training queue seven (7) days. Unfortunately, this qualifies your character as a non-participant and it has been biomassed for the greater good."

Wait, why *isn't* that a policy?
