So I am pretty new to EVE and just learned a valuable lesson. NEVER mine, even in high sec (.9), while an Incursion is going on. Little did this Noob realize that the 'effin rats during an incursion rip through a Hulk in... oh about 3 seconds - along with the T2 drones, and leave you sitting in a pod before you can yell RUN! Lesson learned - albeit a 200 Million Isk one. Oops

Anyone else want to share a time they got smoked by an Incursion? I would bet it would be a lot better story than this one...

/me undocks buffered salvager destro and follows all Hulks in Incursion zones.

Yup the Incursion NPCs are the closest you'll get to PVP from NPCs

They're tougher and smarter and stronger

As for me i just took a couple rifters into the sites suicidally the day they came out just to poke around.

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.

Just mine one system over until its gone. If theres real pvp guys where you live it'll only be a few hours.
