While I have never become bitter (probably due to long doses of not-playing-EVE) , I nonetheless heartily endorse the linked blog post.

My bitter vet syndrome kicked in a few months ago, then I joined TEST. Now Eve is fun again.

I'm just consistently bad at Eve and that seems to do the trick.

Talk to the new guys in corp. Make them suffer my bitterness, then I can be happy again.

Bitter-vet syndrome is a good thing. It means you're slowly coming back to reality. Your body rehabilitated itself, and you never think about POS fueling again.

I make fun of dumb-arses creating new, useless, inane threads like this one.

You forgot dumb-arses who can't even take the time to think of a unique name for their characters. BVS? Try CLI (Creativity Lacking Idiots).

The honest answer to this is making a new account...never giving it seed money or help from your "main" and act like a newb again.

Trust me here...and try it.

BVS can be countered by avoiding the forums and avoiding other bitter vets. The latter is sometimes difficult when you're in an elite pvp corp filled with bitter vets.

"**CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"**

Never forget.
