What is the best ship combination for doing this with 2 characters

My favorite is Machariel/Dominix. Plows right through it. The Domi was shield transporters, cap mods prop mod and low slots for more cap and tank, no damage mods. It's purpose is only to keep the mach alive and be able to tank the aggro switching (the last rooms "boss, antimatter channeler , doesn't switch targets, but all the other angel ships can and do), but the domis drones are a nice little added dps for the Mach.

I actually had to sacrifice a domi once to save my mach because i got scanned down in the angel 10/10 and wasn't able to warp off quick enough (this was before micro jump drives). I call it a tie, they got a kill, i saved my bling boat lol.

Lots of 2 ship combos work, this is what i use.

This is a cheap but effective way.

I suggest to take some 2x mobile depots with you. One in each Domi.
Refit on the acceleration gate to the last room. That one cab be a bit tricky.

MJD range gankfits with bouncers is where it is at. Zero transversal 717dps, outside of rat range. Last room fit spider tank before going in, with mobile depot. Focus in resistances there; the channeler blaps 5000EXP+2500x3 other damage types blast that can wreck for 4x damage.

I used to run the 10/10 in the same mach I steamrolled sanctums with; cookie cutter afterburner with some bling. Speed tanks the 10/10 with ease, barrage for killing channeler right after landing.

Armor RR with 4 DDAs, MJD and a **** ton of Tracking midslot thingies.

Yes, I know. Angel do explosiv damage which is the lowest armor resistens on a domi. It's still works though.

its an easy plex, you can solo it in a tengu. I've done it several times with tengu primary with bouncer-gila (buffer fit) as support just for more dps. This is probably not ideal, but it worked very well.

dual battleships will take more dps incoming, but also have a better chance at breaking those self-repairing structures that drop extra OPE.

Boss can be killed before it becomes a threat.
