What do u all think on having npc crewmembers?? Would it be cool or not? maybe feel less lonely in the big ships we have.
Maybe have a few officers u can dress up, assign to your ships.
Give them some training and get some small bonuses to your skills..
just a thought... Smile

And no i do not think this is a unike question never been asked before...

Well i dont say that i feel lonely in game, then i would have joined a big corp.
What i meen is that youre just 1 person on a big ship..

If you're feeling lonely, I suggest finding a corporation with more than two other people in it.

I know im new and all, but I'm blown away how many players I have ran into that either play in 1 man Corps or are in NPC corps then complain about feeling so alone. Always cracks me up.

NPCs exist to be killed, farmed, and respawned. Coddling NPCs is something an exceptionally naive tree hugging hippy liberal communist socialist with a fascist bent would spew while standing in the bread line.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

I'm pretty sure ships have npc crew already, it's not on the stat profile but I'm sure some eve lore geek will give a link if you ask nicely.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

I am just the lore geek to do that. Here it is again. Someday we will be able to dress those 200 crew members up and march them all around the station. Customizable uniforms for them in the NEX store!

No you're not. You just don't actually see them. Because you don't need to see them. Because you're a capsuleer and you don't waste your time with common, lesser entities working and sweating while you comfortably lie in your Poteque's nutritive goo-filled capsule, controlling every critical aspect of your ship without resorting to a manual, fallible, archaic chain of command involving petty and worthless executants being nothing but a nuisance.
You're better off without them.

Depending of the size of your ship, it goes from a couple to several thousands people on most vessels. Not counting capital ships, going over the 100k line.
The idea of involving the crew somehow has already been raised numerously, mainly on the F&I forum. Have a look, there's a lot of interesting ideas about it.

Its been suggested and talked about but I guess the idea is not very popular overall.

Don't forget the donkey shows especially if we can dress up the donkey.

First I've ever seen of this particular idea tbh, and I've been around a lot. Not that it's good or anything, just unique.

Silly geese...

You already have NPC crewmembers:

Your just the pilot/captain stuck in a pod.... who do you think reloads the ammo and stuff?

This is EVE Online, not STO, not X Rebirth. EVE Online.

According to the wiki they weigh 1000kg each, I'd rather run without them if the fat bastards add that much mass.

Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction...
