Regarding SLI setup with DX11:

We have not been able to recreate crashes on our SLI setup. But it does seem that SLI is not active when running with the default setup.

We had to go into the Nvidia control panel->Manage 3D settings and choose the "Program Settings" tab. Under the "SLI Rendering Mode" feature, changing the setting to "Force alternate frame rendering 1" did the trick for us, and SLI is active on DX11.

Ive got the newest driver from nvidia 331.38 from the 19th. I set the force alt frame rnd 1 and it didnt help what so ever in fact it crashed faster than before. Now i am using quad sli and not just sli. 2 dual gpu cards gtx 590s. here is the report.

Hi.
Just to be sure: You state you are using the newest driver 331.38. But is not the latest driver for the GTX590 331.82?

I meant to type 331.82 being that there is no such driver 331.38. Some beta drivers just came out today gonna give them a shot. However with sli disabled and putting the game in dx9 has work for 8 hrs without issue.

Ok, thanks. Just wanted to be sure. I would really like to hear the results of your tests with the beta-driver, when you have the time to try it out.

Since the Rubicon update a have had the same problem, random graphic's driver crashes almost every time I jump or warp.
Before the Rubicon update it was all fine, not a single driver crash.

Today I tried update the graphic's driver, the result was even worse.

Then I tried this:

The result was worse, crashed every time I jumped or warped.

Then I realized that when i'm in "Planetary mode" I can both jump and warp without any problems.
I have now tried this a couple of times whit the same result, when in "PI mode" it's all fine.

Hopefully this will help you guy's whit the troubleshooting.

My system is running on Nvidia 570 SLI with 331,93 Beta drivers. I have tried 331,82 and 327,23. Always the same problem.

I'm getting this same issue, I have two GTX 580's, updated to most recent driver release and I'm still getting the same problem. Drivers crash while going into warp/gate jumping.

Im running EVE with DX11 on a GTX 680 with latest beta drivers and my display driver still crashes though not as frequent than before beta drivers.

Does it crash with DX9 as well?

DX9 runs perfectly on my rig.

After some research on different forums i tried raising my GPU voltage...no difference, crashed during the first warp attempt under DX11 :(

The funny thing is that when I run benchmarks under DX11 there's no problems at all.

We have a couple of fixes in today's patch that we hope will address some of these driver crashes. I'd love to hear your feedback, both good and bad, after today's downtime.

Here's an update from me.
I ran dx9 fine for a good 1,5 day and today after downtime i changed back to dx11 to test the fixes and I have already had 2 or 3 display driver crashes.

Well, that sucks :( Guess I'll keep at it, then!

Do you notice any pattern to this? Anything in particular you were doing that triggers this? If you can spare the time to run under DX11 with LogServer to capture some info for me, I'd be most grateful. Don't do anything risky though, stick with DX9 for real gameplay for now.

See https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Bug_reporting and https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Logserver for more info.

I managed to capture two crashes from the in-game monitor (unfortunately not with log server running) however I'd like to upload the data. Problem now is that the report bug site is throwing me 500 errors when I try to upload - Will try a bit later :).

Apparently there is a size limit on attached files. If it still fails later, maybe you can send me a link in EVE mail to a Google Drive share or something similar. You could also try zipping the files before attaching.

Same problem here as the rest or the Posts, machine running two 550's, three monitors, three clients. I do notice I get more Driver fails when I open Internet Explorer while running the clients (Google homepage, and EVEforums open in the tabs), but it usually recovered till today after DT when it crashed all three CCP.exe.

I have changed the DX9 after the last crash, I will subscribe to this thread and await a more permanent fix.

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

Reporting the same issue here. Seems pretty random for me. Sometimes I'll go 30-45 minutes without any issues and then have 3 driver crashes in the span of 30 seconds. From time to time it will totally crash the game and so far has frozen my entire computer, forcing a hard reset, twice.

GTX580 here with 331.82 drivers.

After Rubicon I had to set Eve to DX9 or the video driver kept crashing causing Eve to stop responding.

After an update this week the DX9 bandaid no longer works either.

I have tried the Beta 331.93 drivers and rolled-back to 331.65 drivers.

Eve's unplayable right now.

If anyone could give me details about how to report the error logs, I'd be glad to contribute.

This is frustrating - I personally have a GTX 580 in my machine at work - I need to double-check the driver version but I think it's the same. I just don't get these crashes.
