Trollol, ruining your newbie income as a commuting pastime.

Spamming rubi-warp between belts and systems in an interceptor should net you 10-ish faction rat spawns in highsec per hour easily. These rats drop LG crystals, slaves, snakes, frig bp's...

Have fun and make your fortune, newcomers :)

yup. IMO pretty awesome. Who doesn't want cheap LG crystals? I know I certainly do.

I'm confused. What is a rubi-warp? Why would I spam it between belts? When I'm between belts the reason I'm there is I'm already in warp. What is a LG crystal? Is it one made by these people http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LG_Corp ? Or do you mean an L (large) crystal?

Op has a good point. With the interceptor warp speed being as fast as it is now you can move between belts really really fast meaning you have a very good chance at grabbing a couple of faction spawns an hour. these faction spawns (True sansha for example) carry BPCs, Low Grade Implants and even omegas.

All right, i knew what was going to happen but still i tried it. I'm in Delve running missions for the Blood Raiders so i decided to visit Hi Sec Khanid with my Interceptor and after one hour this is what i got:

1 (one) Faction Crystal
1 (one) Cheap Tag
1 (one) Low-grade Talisman implant, valued in 3 mill +/-

Dozens of poor and harmless Blood Raider frigates were harmed in the process. Rest in peace.

Just kill the faction ones and loot miner killed ones. Don't waste a second shooting at anything but commanders. Do routes of 20 systems.

Get 5+ every hour, dozens regularly per hour.

I did some further testing and recommend caldari space even though LG slaves look good on the outset of them being sweet on archons and more required than crystals.

Caldari space is better because there are more miners around which results in more spawns generated, including faction wrecks.

I love warping to a belt and finding a faction wreck just sitting there with loot in it Pirate

Is it absolutely necessary to leave the station to get in on this?

Nope. Market PvP, contract scams, market manipulation, margin trading scams, training a service monkey to play EVE's PvE, etc..

What about using an attack frigate with two warp speed rigs instead? More offensive power for only 0,08 AU/s lower warp speed.
Unless you want to put warp speed rigs on the interceptor.

Edit, just tried it out, dedicating all rigs and all but one low slot to damage, and using t2 rocket launchers with t1 ammo gives a malediction a little below 100 dps, while a vengeance can use it's rig slots for warp speed, and only use two low slots for damage modules, giving it 140 dps. meaning you can sacrifice 0,08 AU/s and a bit of non-warp speed for a lot more damage.

I would imagine you would spend about a total of 3 minute MWDing towards frigates, and a total of about 3 minutes killing them, and about 54 minutes in warp or jumping.

Yeah this rush basically used to be done over the entire cluster after every downtime (used to be a little sugar for aussie players with the DT interruption during prime time), but CCP changed it so the spawned up belt rats persist over DT, and you need fresh spawns to find faction rats, otherwise you'll just be looking at what the last faction farmer already picked the eyes out of.
