OK, just had a couple suggestions.

First off, I'd like to start by saying, they look awesome, and it's pretty fun to jack with.

Ok, suggestions.

1) Engine trails while warping.

The engine trails make you feel a bit more like you're actually moving, however, when you're warping they shut off.
I would assume that if you have engine trails while standard flying, then when you were warping they would be much brighter and much longer, perhaps even effected by the warp tunnel in some manner.

2) Perhaps show jet streams on another player's screen that jsut happens to look at your warp trail.

This relys on 1 being implemented. However, this would have a tactical use as well as just being cool to see.
Players would be able to somewhat guess where a player that just jumped into system is heading.

Now, it would be difficult to guess, because it would be just like a jet stream, meaning, depth perception is key.

The only issue with number 2 is it may be a little too rough on the server, but that's just a guess.

Overall, these are just immersion aspects.

I feel 1 needs to be implemented and 2 would just be cool.

I'm really indiferrent about this, what you suggest can just as easily be done with skillful use of the D-scan.

MMOs come and go, but Eve remains.  -Garresh-

I don't really care about engine trails one way or another, but I strongly don't want to see them while warping. You're not using your thrusters to move while in warp. Warping has nothing to do with them and so the trails need to stay away from ruining the otherwise great looking warp effect we are getting.
