Missle's Uncloak Ships?

is it just me or is this something new?

Light Missile's were uncloaking my alt hauler as it was firing at main. Even got u cannot cloak because Light missile is within 2000 Meters

didn't see this in patch notes or noticed this before.

I really do hope missiles can uncloak now. I imagine this happening at gates.

Corp members shooting each other with missiles to create the cloud of missiles at the gate to make people decloak.

ANY object that comes within 2000m of your ship can decloak you...

As far as I am aware this has always been the case.

When I first joined Eve there was someone's bio that read: "You cannot activate your cloak because you are within 2000 meters of the Caldari Navy Scourge Cruise Missile". This was before both Rubion and Oddysey.

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

Yes.

And if your timing is exceptionally bad it will also prevent you from recloaking.

Even moon probes will decloak ships...
and those fire it a straight line...
in the direction of your ship...
at 3k/s...

But yeah, missiles.

Can't shoot blues if you don't have any. Long Live NPSI.

Not a new feature. Times ago my sb got decloaked in the asteroid belt by a missile.
Funny part was that my sb was cloaked 50km behind the action, and cruise missile was heading toward rat that died before that salvo hit it. So missiles kept going on and crossed my position and caused me to decloak. What are the chances... heh.

One of my stealth bomber losses earlier this was warping in at 50km on someone our group had tackled, only to be decloaked almost instantly by a belt rat warping in on me, leading to my grisly death. It was hilarious.
