Add new long range projectiles weapons

There are Dual 150mm Railguns, there are Quad light beam lasers, but why are there no dual/quad 280mm light artillery cannons? Same goes with large projectiles. Think about it! SHOW YOUR SUPPORT!

Does anyone even use the 250mm artillery we already have? Also, adding a third type of artillery would require a complete rebalance since the existing balance was done around there only being two types in each size class. (For what it's worth, the smaller artillery was deemed by CCP to be "aimed more at PvE" and the larger "aimed more at PvP".)

A projectile rebalance wouldnt be bad at all.
And it would add consistency through the weapon systems.

I'm curious what part of artillery makes you feel that it needs another rebalance and what direction you'd prefer to see it go.

Especially medium projectiles are bad in their current state. They need a buff and nothing speaks up against adding another weapon system.

Ammunition. There is no long range alternative for ammunition with selectable damage type (EMP, Plasma, Fusion). T2 ammo of projectiles plainly sucks.

Its not for the sake of change itself. Artilleries lack a relatively high tracking high rate of fire alternative.

These are both terrible and if you find your self using them you need to stop and take a serious look at your fitting abilities.

At least the quad light beams are great brawling guns and open fitting options you hadnt had before. Like a double plated Maller that actually does DPS. You should learn 2 fit stuff.

425mm ACs have 4 times the tracking, a bit more than half the alpha, a bit more than twice the rate of fire, a bit more than half the falloff and a lot less optimal range. Thats where I see the small dual artys whatever fit in between.

Because there is no low fiting artillery at the moment.
