I think they have to figure out how to get jita 4-4 to work with 1000+ people in the one station. They might be able to do that already because they have done a lot of work on it already. We'll have to wait and see what happens in a years time maybe.

see, this scares me

what will you see in jita?

1000 people mostly standing still like statues, except for the spammers who will be standing on tables and jumping around. and the bunch of guys running around trying to find ways of fps style LOS griefing other players...

This would make me quit eve for good

It would probably be heavily instanced, besides the station's gravity is too much for running around and jumping, that's why our avatars are so slow Lol

You're forgetting that probably about 95% of poeple will still be spinning ships rather than playing with barbie toys.

Just sayin'...

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

I highly doubt you'll have more than 16-64 avatars active in stations, as I'm sure the in-station population will be fragmented by channels/districts, much like how other MMOs separate their population.
