The biggest issue I have with this thread is that OP uses cities XL instead of simcity 4, therefore his idea (and very existence) is invalid.

While merging Cities XL with EvE isn't gonna work (not even if you just use Cities XL engine for a game of your own) I can support a call for more interaction planetside.
Right now PI is nothing from what it was portrayed as. While it shouldn't be as complex as a city-simulator, some basic stuff to interact with it would be neat.
Best bet for such changes would be when Dust gets more integrated with EvE, giving a reason for a more complex PI colony. But such act is a long way off still.

The idea was to improve on "PI". Right now there is barely any interaction with the planets and we have a **** load of planets in the eve universe going to waste. If you can take PI to where we can start building cities on planets we want to colonies from space. The same way we do "PI". Every building will cost "ISK" to create these worlds. And these worlds will bring you income.

You can now have people fighting over worlds to add to pvp. More things to shot at.

Its ashame that the planets can't be intergrated more into the game. Now i "don't" want players on the ground, THAT I DO NOT WANT. I like that its in space. This is just a new Trade or business that can be added.

It can be called Developer trade.

Something like that was the general devloping idea when they launched PI. Then, as often happens, that feauture was never iterated and abbandoned as is now.

Well, they could, theoretically.

You don't see the space nor your ship, but a virtual representation of it, which the pod feeds to your brain through a neural interface.

Anything visual and aural could be fed through the same interface.

Even elves and orcs.

I say there is the beginnings of an idea here. I'd love to see those big, dead worlds suddenly spring teeming into life. Call the expansion 'Anima'.

There's real reasons why your Eve character doesn't do /dance.
