Please seriously think about finding another voice service for Eve Voice. The current one is not popular because it's often unusable. Look, eve has a built-in voice communication service but most of players still use 3rd party tools like Teamspeak.

Why don't you build Teamspeak into Eve client to use it for all in-game voice communications? I'm sure there must be ways to do that and make Eve voice reliable and hence popular, at last.

Because of intellectual property rights, royalties, and the fact that most players enjoy playing other games with the same people (as well as not run the risk of disconnecting mid-battle and logging back in without the faintest idea about what is happening.

Ok.
Then they should at least make Eve Voice reliable. Currently it isn't.

P.S.:
btw, they could make Eve Voice accessible from out-of-game client made for it. You want to play eve and use comms in it - you use Eve Voice in-game. You want to simultaneously use it outside and inside of eve - log in with out-of-game client to Eve Voice service with your eve account, connect to any teamspeak server and use OOG Eve Voice like teamspeak: with ability to also communicate with those in eve (like through evegate-evevoice as it is now).
In short, out of game client for Eve Voice with ability to connect to Teamspeak servers.

It can be done, and it would be awesome.

As I understand, you can connect to EVE Voice out-of-game via EVE Gate.
