Assuming again there is some kind of crisis.

So, just to reaffirm the fact we're not rabid visionaries, from the CSM8 status report:

In that time, of course, we’ve had the following crises:
the Term of Service update in mid-September;
the first SOMERblink issue regarding the iScorp giveaway in late September;
the question about how much support community sites should get in general in early October;
the second SOMERblink issue regarding ISK giveaways for GTC sales in late October; and,
now the live event situation last week.

Highlights are mine, not in the original text.
That much for the "everything is normal", unless CSM is also being a carebearcrybaby with too much on their hands.

Another example when the titan crashed into the planet why couldn't I help by delivering food and other supplies. Couldn't the Sisters of Eve, or even the Gallente has set up a temporary agent that says, bring me 40000 m3 of food, 25000 m3 water 5000m3 of antibiotics. Then later they need building supplies to rebuild. These can go on for a few days giving everybody at least a chance to participate in some way. And again if they collect so much Event A happens, not enough Event B. If you want to give rewards it could be LP or maybe some standings increase.

These are very nice ideas and I for one would love to see them realized.

If I may add something, I understand that I might not be able to attend some events. I get that. However I would still like to help and participate.

This last one for example started with a large mysterious explosion in YFN-UN in Syndicate. Could it be possible to put in some special exploration sites in the constellation that when you probe them out and go there your ship takes a few scans puts a small "Data Chip" in your cargo hold to transport. Us capsuleers can collect these and head to maybe a certain concord station or the University of Caille mentioned in the news and turn these in. There could be a small reward for bringing these in, maybe a small bit of Loyalty points for the Corporation which wants these. CCP could have a hidden counter when they get enought Event A happens, the don't get enough Event B happens. And after a few days these "Data Chips" become worthless and are deleted.

Also with all these explorers and other trying to help, the other players would most certainatly try to kill them. I mean conflict and content are created. Players get to particiate as these sites can remain up for a few days.

Now I won't pretend to know how difficult that would be implent something like this. It was just my idea to try to get everyone involved who wanted to participate and would be mostly autonomous.

I like live events, wish there were more.

These are lovely ideas, make the story come to life, little things like this could be occuring all over, and become a new "career" for some, "lore explorers."
I particuarly like the linking of the Titan crash, Pi mining transport logistics manufacturing all responding to a crisis and pulling together to help. Not just working to sell at the market. Gives a feeling of improving the world around you and making it better.Makes these places bring back a memory as you fly past. I was there, I did that! And a frisson of pride and a sense of belonging.People visit Monuments for this, This is a much better reason.

Imagine if you flew past a year later, a one off thing, a fleet rising from the planet to honour you thank you for your help, and giving a little momento, photos of children strong and happy who would have died without your assistance.
Emergent gameplay and every new feature does not all have to revolve around PewPew. There's room for everyone. Let as much emphasis be on creation as destruction.

There is one EvE. Many people. Many lifestyles. WE are EvE

Oh no once again my internet spaceship has blown up due to MY judgement to jump through a gate.

Really?

This really is not rocket science.

1) The issue:

People felt there was no actual "event" as they either:
- could never even get close to the target system due to TIDI
- got vaporised within seconds of jumping though an enroute gate before reaching the target system
- made it to the target system but nothing particularly noteworthy happened

2) The solution:

Provide some content early.

EXAMPLE .... Many highsec players (especially the people with new accounts with no alts in null yet who tend to flock to this sort of thing) have never seen supers or capitals as they are banned in high and only a few legacy ships exist. Have four staging points, one in each faction, and have a Carrier/Titan fleet jump the highsec contingent to the edge of null where the Empire fleet goes on to do other unspecified operations and ask the highsec contingent to carry on.

I can guarantee that many new players would have been perfectly happy with the event even if they only got to see a cyno fleet and some caps jump for the first time --- even if they then got totally vaporised approaching null.

CCP could also benefit from actually looking at some of the groups in their community and learn from then in organizing and carrying out these things as plenty of groups run 'public' roams (RvB, Agony, E-Uni etc).
