On the brighter side of things.. there will be no TiDi for next Event. I bet the couple of newbs that will show up will be able to enjoy traveling without TiDi.

Look on the bright side may be there will be some new subscribers to slaughter.Big smileShocked

Not with this level of engagement. Miners will shrink back to Jita scammers. Or just leave.

I'm guessing that some will actually leave 'cause they do not enjoy paying to be CCPd.

On Jester's Trek's blog post comments there have been a few announcements about new players leaving the game. Likewise friend of mine who was going to resub today, decided not to do it after hearing how CCP handled this event. So yes, CCP has lost money because of this event.

As my old maths teacher used to say: "Statistics are like bikinis: It's what they don't show that's interesting". -CCP Aporia

Maybe you guys could have formed some organized fleets considering you had triple the numbers of the people killing you

DUDE.. we HAD a fleet, and well organized.
the Only thing that failed on my fleet and some 700 other people (764 ) was that we were ABANDONED on a gate, after some 2 hours of random space travel at sometimes 18 % TiDi

besides that, No DESTINATION was given , and loads of newbies started jumping into NULL camped gates

howzzthat for a mess?

Event? that was a MASSIVE GANK FEST by CCP

You don't understand. We do not wish for these things. "Winning" seem absolute for you. That is your failure. I hope that gave "meaning" for you. As pale as it can be.

I dont even know what that means. If you didnt want to fight then why did you jump into a null alliances staging system.

For the record I wasnt a part of the gate camp. I was fleeted with some friends heading to the event with everyone else until I heard my alliance was slaughtering everyone who was jumping into doril

three times the people, but they did not know each other; never worked together; most fleets didn't have any logi - how much tackle did we have? How many scouts? How many FC, and who knew them to be such?

Besides, if hisec carebears were able *and willing* to quickly organize for big-time PVP... they wouldn't be stuck in hisec, don't you think?

"Winning" is pale. When you **** someone at a gate, it's pure evil. True winning is facing an enemy that will build you up. To create philosophy. That is how we grow. But. Go for a killboard. It's your loss.

Using metaphysics to describe an imaginary world isn't making you look smarter.

Sadly hundreds of noobs went to their doom without the least idea about PvP and Null and thinking that CCP was ORGANIZING an "EVENT"

CCP should reimburse them ALL !
