Why would you tell us to stage 16 jumps from the actual staging system? WHY!?!

I think CCP is unclear on the meaning of staging point. In English the term implies that the point in question will be a good place to stock supplies for the coming action. 23 %@%$ jumps away is not a good staging point.

To make everyone involved waste an hour flying that distance with an average TIDI 0f 24% is a terrible idea CCP. I'm not sure what your motives are, but if you are trying to turn people away from live events you will succeed.

p.s. I logged in, wrote this and posted it while warping across Hama. Still not done...

p.p.s. I am changing my estimate of travel time to 2.5 hours and average TIDI to 13%

kk, to hell with this. I told myself after wasting time staging ships in Luminaire that I wasn't goin to waste time on these again. Then last night I got 2 BS ready in Sarum, and clone jumped to be ready. Haa haa, the joke is on me and the 1000+ other pilots who showed up where we were asked to.

That's a really bad organisation. It's 35 minuts from the beggining of the event and I have lost a ship with one account, my two others, taking two different way, and both still traveling at 10% tidi and haven't reached their destination yet.

I guess the GM teleported himself at Ihal and started the event without waiting for us, because that's the only way he could have gotten here before me.

So yes, I don't know who's the genius who thought that moving 1500+ ppl through 18 jumps shorter or 22 jumps safer would be wise, I don't know who thought that it would be wise to make people from Amarr militia go through matarr space to reach the target destination, but that's really BRILLIANT.

All we get from following these events is lag, losses, and a complete absence of organization. I really recommend CCP to reconsider the role of their players into their events, because for the moment I feel like CCP does not care about us, players kind enough to attend to events announced 24 hours ago.

PS : Actually that's almost insulting to dedicate time to come (not counting the time ahead of the beggining just to BE in the system) to just have to give up because the fleet departed without us.

Next time let devs actually playing eve, knowing the reality of the game, organize this kind of stuff, please...

I would, too, say a word that begins with a "F"...

But not the same, because a fail would imply waiting until players are able to catch up. It would have been boring, but not insulting.

just be glad you didn't do the 22 jumps to Ihal, wait an hour to suffer through 10% tidi through 2 of the 6 jumps to dest then get kicked and not be allowed to reconnect because they locked down all those nodes..


nice work CCP. now i remember why i don't participate in their **** poor event's. so now i have to wait 2+ hours just so i can reconnect to my character and go back to what i was originally doing before i wasted 3 hours of my life for this crap.

These sorts of things make me less sad they don't do events in the US time zones....

It wasn't a screw up. You REALLY think they gave these guys a 30-40 min head start on gate camps on accident? We just know that they have alts in the alliances over there.
