I received this mission 2 nights ago from the following agent:

Aftar Brelgard Division: Mining 0.6 Parchanier VI - Core Complexion Inc. Warehouse Effective Standing: 4.5

I killed all of the pirates, saw the container drop with presumably the 'Special Delivery' item inside. However, as I approached the container simply vanished. No one shot at it and I had only killed the last pirate less than 60 seconds before it disappeared.

Is there any way to fix the problem? Or, am I totally shafted and have to quit the mission? Does it make sense to let the mission expire although I've already accepted it and partially completed it?

Any constructive feedback would be greatly appreciated!

And, to expand further, this is a storyline mission that I would truly rather not quit. I have also since gone back to the place and still no pirates or container.

See if the item is available on contract

alternatively file a petition, but i'm sure the logs will show nothingRoll

I have since petitioned and since it was still showing in my mission log, I believe that was proof enough to reset it. I have since completed it fully and moved on! Thanks for the help!
