Remove Skill Point Need for Singularity

Singularity has a skill point queue that seems a bit pointless. I have multiple characters and it's a hassle to log into Sisi as well as TQ just to try and keep the characters updated.

I like logging into Sisi sometimes to check ship builds or scout areas, but only to find I can't fly the ships to test that I can in TQ since the server doesn't update for SP often. Since the cost of items is so low anyways and it's just to test, why not do the following.

Big smile Remove the skill point queue completely and give all characters the ability to fly anything or use anything.

this would do the followings.

1) Allow players to try ships that they can not fly on TQ in order to skill for them on TQ....sort of a carrot and motivation.
2) Get more people trying out Sisi in order to truly test server loads. (It's crashing often with Rubicon).

The only issue I think may be the following.

Twisted people may get hooked on Sisi and not want to log in TQ. (for a short time only) Playing with Captials and such.

Hmmm I'd say the current setup with mirrors makes SiSi a nice reflection of actual TQ conditions, rather than perfect, isolated All5 environment.

And a lot of people might get hooked on being able to fly everything actually. In perfect safety, with everything costing 100ISK

Requested a lock. This belongs in Test Server Feedback not in F&I and in TSF you'll see this has already been suggested.

Try using SEARCH and you'll see why this is a bad idea. Also participating in Mass Testing nets you 2mil SP to use on SiSi as a thank you, something to think about.

Requested Lockdown.... A little OTT..

Try using Search next time ..... A little "Overused comment, when someone has absolutely nothing to contribute".

Really! Sir, you play this game too much.

Not really OTT just prevents trolling and locks topics that aren't relevant that just clutter this particular forum.

SEARCH is clearly under used by you it would seem Roll

I do, I admit it, but get the right goddamn forum next time!!! lol. Just kidding. It wasn't meant harshly nor will the lock give you a "blackmark" or anything of detriment.

Erm... no?
You realise that the test server is for testing developments to the game prior to release right? It was not made specifically so that you can go test your ship builds.
If they started disabling functionality just to make it easier for you, then how would we ever discover when they add or change a feature that affects the disabled parts of the game?

that makes a lot of sense... didn't think of that.

Note though; to those who say just search for it...... and why this statement is both offensive and wrong.

If we didn't add new questions from new players, the following would happen.

1) We would all be stuck with the opinions of people playing long ago.
2) We would not account for changes to the game since that long ago statement or sentiment.
3) We would have less construction interaction from the player base.
4) Only the people "Who play the game too much" would have an opinion.

Peace

To the people who:

1) Don't use SEARCH
2) Post in the wrong Forum
3) Smacktalk to people who don't do either of the above but who try to help them

vOv.

This same thing\very similar was posted up just the other day hence my comment but because you couldn't be arsed searching you assumed that it was "Bittervet Syndrome" and carried on making an arse of yourself. Don't want help or advice then log-off and don't return.

I think there are also two [hidden] reasons for that.

1- Let's say, if they removed skill point need from SiSi, then people will be exposed to a sudden experience of all the endgame content in a wrong way, where low-SP people can buy a titan with 100 isk, and can say "duh! is this the mighty titan?". Without even thinking to hussle to go there, without getting into 500man fleet battles with it. The most dangerous thing for EvE is that a way to remove the "fear" of "loosing". Think it like children playing Poker between them without any risks taken. That would be boring.

2- LoL style on the play. Without exposed to any risks, let's say that two alliances took a bidding for a capital battle, winner will take 1000 bil. They jumped on SiSi with 2500 man, everybody took a capital and warped to CA1. BOOOOM! CCP dev environment is gibbed by a massive player enjoyment.

_Half _the lies they tell about me **aren't **true.

Basically, the OP wants to be able to fly all the cap ships and be WTFUBER!!!1111!!!!!1111!1.

Tell me this OP, if everyone on Sisi has max skills, and there is no skill queue... how is it an accurate representation of Tranquility, perfect for testing and bug hunting?

Plus, if you had posted this in the correct forum, well... you would have been flamed there too, because this gets brought up and shot down quite often.

EDIT: Oh I see now, just checked the OPs profile. 3 month old character wants to fly all the ships and have all the skills NOW NOW NOW!!!!
