Allow people to install jobs into POSes for themselves and not only for CORP

It would be nice if we could install jobs for ourselves instead of for the corp. It would also be nice if we could source the materials from any storage in the POS instead of just the thing building it.

We have this nifty personal hangar array to keep all our stuff separate, but we're still required to put our research stuff in the various structures that will do the research? Why is it that I can install something at a POS from a station, but not from the hangar at the POS? That makes no sense.

Secondarily it would be nice if the blueprints screen allowed me to see what was in all structures I had access to even if I'm more than 2500m away. CCP fixed all the other POS distance issues involved, why not this one?

So please when you do the next pass on POSes, even if it's a minor one, please consider making these changes. To summarize:

1) ability to install at POS for myself (and not corp)
2) ability to install from any structure (not just the research facility)
3) ability to see blueprints in any structure in the POS itself

And finally if you ever get around to modular POSes, please make it so that adding these various facilities just adds slots to a pool rather than having to manage individual freaking locations. It's alright if it tells us where it went, but the UI for this thing is terrible and seems to be designed around the edge case (having to online and offline structures) rather than the day-to-day where the structures are pretty much online all the time.

1. This (IIRC) can't be touched until they rework POS (and corp roles) from the ground up. It pretty much revolves around the need for corp take roles -- it's the same issue that causes alliances to only be able to offer ME/PE research on T1 BPOs.
2. already answered.
3. Why are you keeping prints in the POS in the first place? Anyway, IIRC, you can get the print locations from either within the S&I window, or from within "Corp Assets".

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

This doesn't seem to allow installing a blueprint located in a Corp Hangar Array or Personal Hangar Array into a Research Lab or Advanced Research Lab. If it's supposed to, then I have encountered a bug because I always get something like " to install must be either in a station or on the floor of the structure".

I'm familiar with Scientific Networking and it hasn't helped me one bit here (presuming it's not a bug).

1. Understood.
2. Also responded to. It doesn't seem like Scientific Networking helps with POS to POS stuff. See " to install must be either in a station or on the floor of the structure".
3. Where else should I keep them? And when answering understand that WH folks don't really have any other public place. I could keep them on myself, but then they can't be used by corp mates. Also I can get them from within corp assets, but if I remember correctly corp assets are like personal assets and don't include the blueprint specific information like ME/PE and runs remaining, which is kind of important.

Having BPOs in a POS in a WH is a giant shoot me sign hanging from your POS. If you need to conduct manufacturing at the POS, I would recommend only bringing in BPCs. Unless of course its trivial BPOs like ammo and fuel blocks, anything else, just use BPCs.

What I'd like to see is the ability to put towers down for ourselves, instead of just corps.

I work almost exclusively in BPCs, so yeah. I avoid putting the BPOs in the tower longer than it takes to actually do the ME or PE research. But to do invention you're working in a lot of BPCs and it's really annoying to do those from the tower. I would love it if the division has a pool of space and the labs didn't have their own, but they just added research slots. This piecemeal crap is annoying.

Welcome to good enough modular programming. It sucks, but one way to look at it is that since the system does suck, it deters other people from doing it, which decreases competition, thereby increasing your profit margins Cool. There are alot of things that need to be addressed with POS's, and this is just another item on the list.
