Stop the wavering camera in hanger and space

CCP, could you PLEASE, after several years of this, add a tiny option that allows us to disable the camera wavering in hangar and space? I see no benefit, but several problems with it. Why was this implemented in the first place?

I found a closed thread about this:

While it personally doesn't make me feel dizzy, it IS distracting from various UI windows. It also looks horrible in combination with the faulty in-model anti aliasing that's related to shaders (setting medium or high) and still happens after I switched to a brand new graphics card. I have moving pixel stairs all over the screen, and no driver or game setting can fix that. Furthermore, light sources flicker when not viewed from straight ahead. This also applies to some ship engine exhaust effects in space.
And even turning off ship spinning in hangar doesn't help much, because then I often get a black-hangar-screen bug when alt-tabbing back into the game.

It also is very frustrating and feels like harassment when I'm trying to target a tiny object in space while the camera is moving around randomly all the time for no practical reason.
And it detracts from accurate navigation when a movement is pretended that is not there.
It also ruins the little bit of immersion the game has, because the constantly moving camera creates a division between the player POV and what is happening in the game. If this was supposed to simulate a camera drone, sorry, it is more immersive to just take the 3rd person view for granted without thinking about it. Besides, if a camera drone can't hold still for a second, then it's a piece of junk. (Oh and in the hangar, the camera drone theory goes out the window anyway.)

Whoever implemented that effect must have been drunk, and the fact that after years of this there still is no checkbox in the options to turn it off is just sad. (Although very much like other stuff I've experienced with EVE.)

Here is a video of how my hangar view looks with my GeForce GTX 760 and highest visual settings (except anti alias on 4x, because clouds and objects in space still make the framerate drop by a ridiculous degree if I use 8x AA.)

+1 to this as I've had difficulty just clicking on something with the wibbly wobbly camera (except for the last sentence with the unnecessary attack). Maybe this isn't as easy to achieve as it sounds?

I feel that the stillness of empty space would go better with a camera that didn't move.
