Once your newest donations will be finalized on the March balance sheet (to be released on April), you'll make to the hall of fame!

March update

Got another 400M from Trader CiCi. I don't know if she's been banned or not, if she is not I'd like she'd confirm that.

Samroski's Sister Fund got more assets this month, but he did not specify the very exact amounts so I left the statement amounts unchanged. When I'll have the numbers I'll update the next month statement to reflect them.

April update

A quiet month with the usual RAW23-through-Grendell donation and another small donation.

Samroski beats everyone (including Chribba!) at heroic persistence sending me updated numbers for his Sister Fund NAV (which is expanding).

May update

Another quiet month, but small donations keep trickling in and Samroski keeps updating (and increasing!) his fund.

June update

Another quiet month, Samroski as usual keeps updating (and increasing!) his fund.
I will contact Chribba for an update on his fund, while I think Arcy Dorey stopped playing.

July update

No donations this month.

I think it's due to the fact that it's a long time since the last humanitarian emergency and people tend to reduce their attention when everything goes well. Anyway, the fact nothing hugely bad happened since years is a good thing!

Another factor is: I had to work with CCP and perform selection on the donors. Some of them had less than a pristine background and the risk of getting tainted ISK was tangible. The choice to leave them out was inevitable, for the best of the Fund.

Just a heads up, I've found a new home for the isk. Expect some interest payments from this bond.

I can't divulge petitions material and my years long fight (sometimes with some hard litigating) together with CCP to squash cheaters is best done without the cheaters knowing what hit them.

August update

No donations to account for this month.
However Grendell has started sending interests again and Rykker Bow has sent ISK given as a bonus on his last bond.
So, September will see the money accounted and also two PLEXes are coming.

September update

A quite good month!
4.3B plus 2 PLEXes have entered the fund thanks to a number of Donors.

Have CCP give any indication that they might run another PLEX for good drive in the future? I realise that with some of their recent business decisions (Blink) they might not have much profit to write off against taxes with charitable donations but if they have suggested that they would be inclined to repeat the exercise some day I would be quite tempted to put together a little project in the not too distant future to boost the fund's holdings a little (nothing major planned but an injection of a few bil that I would not otherwise be motivated to grind).

Edit - btw, your site seems to be down.

I sincerely don't know, I asked them in the past and this kind of initiative was still active. I could ask them again and tell you the reply.
If they took it down it'd be a big pity.
Strictly speaking about ISK, it'd not be a big problem: the fund is so heavily recorded that I could easily send ISK back to the post PLEX for Japan Donors with 2 digits of precision.
It'd also relieve me of a very heavy burden: to hold someone else's money with the highest and noblest mission of all (charity) for years, without having a way to automatically give it away to someone else in case of my inability to play EvE.

About the website: since it's no profit it's installed on a shared hosting. Due to the number of users at peak days it slows down to a crawl and some times the Cloudflare service takes over and says it's down.
Yesterday was one of those days: I re-opened EvE Income Analyzer for download and posted an educational PLEX market analysis. These events tend to cause traffic and thus slowdowns.

Perhaps you could take steps to ease your very heavy nearly unbearable burden a bit? Stash everything in a corporation, you as the CEO, one other pretty trustworthy corp member with no roles, and a first-rate trusted third party outside of the corporation with 100% of the shares?

We all know the shares system sucks when trying to secure stuff, but in this case the goal is not securing, but making sure the stuff remains accessible in a classic hit-by-a-bus scenario.

I don't know anyone who is ready to keep up with a multi-year task like this... and for basically nothing but charity.

Even Chribba has stopped sending updates about how much NAV is currently his sister fund worth. Since a long, long time.

I figured it was better to report changes than non-changes from my side, hence the darkness, as there hasn't been made any deposits.
