The ship itself made it into the game, just the nex part didnt work out.

81 of them were given out to fanfest attendees, and some small number (reported as 6) were given to the organizers of the SCL.

Then CCP Navigator gave 30 of them to (10-20 billion isk each at pre-Somergate prices) his old Somer buddies secretly as a "thank you for all your contributions to the community".

sure they can do whatever the hell they want, however most people (quite reasonably) expect a fair and unbiased game when they're handing over their monthly subscription.

Like someone said a few posts above, it's not favouritism, it's reward for services bettering the community. Your butt will stop hurting soon....


The billions of isks they make isn't a reward enough? I know, let's give some special rewards to miners. After all it's thanks to them I don't need to mine. They are obviously bettering the community.

I can't imagine how furious I would be in your shoes. CCP can lock this thread like they do the rest, but they need to see what a huge mistake they are making. If a Casino donates millions of dollars to a charity that saves lives, they shouldn't be forgiven for the lives they've ruined either. You can argue that "People are choosing to gamble away their money instead of getting help for their addiction" but instead CCP chooses to reward them. What a crock.

But RvB do the content, giving isk to help them is just advertising.
