Hi Guys,

I've been scouring the web trying to find any update on this. In 2011, there was a lot of talk about the CARBON UI paving the way for allowing user mods of the UI.

I think this would be a great idea and a good way to offload a lot of the work that is needed in improving EVE's UI.

Is there any update on this?

Cheers,

Jimi

Not sure what a 3rd party gambling site, and being able to change the border of a window have to do with each other, but whatever.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

So you want to turn Eve into Winamp. Ok, just download winamp.

Anything that helps EVE's UI look less like Excel 2010 is good.

Too bad EVE's playerbase is too stubborn to allow it to happen, you know, since we complain about EVERYTHING, Big (Microtransactions), Small (The probing background is too dark) and inbetween (can you make (insert random feature) optional???)

Previously using Carbon based UI in other games, I for one, approve this message, however do not think there is much to update on it. As long as it is user side manipulation of the UI then there is no harm. Of course CCP could give every player a Gold Monkey and someone would find a reason to complain about it, as in Carbon would be an unfair advantage to anyone without any basic knowledge of cache files and UI plugins, therefore CCP favors "leet haxors" .Roll

No more Golden Monkeys! They're part of eve lore and should never be given out again!
