New SOE ships coming you say, let's make them dirt cheap when they appear:

Osmon

NPC Kills - 4,515 (last hour) / 131,110 (Last 24 hours)

Betting SOE ships end up selling for 15, maybe 16 ISK per ship Cool

You think you can't get angel, gurista, sansha and whatnot with LP.....LOL

the number of npc kills just make it look like a standard nullsec botting system.

The vast bulk of bots are in high sec because afk cloakers cant get them there.

every time you go to do a mission. it doesn't matter how many missions are being done, it doesn't matter how many missions you've done, it doesn't matter if you've just done a mission, you get a mission. there is no limit to the amount of missions that can be done in an hour save the number of pilots doing missions and how fast they do them. there is no limit to the number of pilots than can be sustained by a single agent.

when you go looking for a complex or anom. they only spawn a certain number after a certain amount of time after they're finished. the anoms/plex/rats are limited by the timer and the rng and only a certain amount can possibly be spawned in a day. there's a maximum number of pilots that can be sustained by anoms, belts or rats.

so your saying that they have ALL been completed and NEVER spawn anywhere anymore
because that's what LIMITED means

but that's not true is it. they will respawn again, and again, and again, and again, and again
that's what UNLIMITED means

ergo nulsec belt rats, and nulsec & fw complex's are unlimited

hmm...

I used to live close to Osmon......Guristas territory...

hmmm.... So the mission runners will most likely use shield tanked ships with the usual 2 kinetic/1 thermal hardener setup...

...

that would leave them at 0% EM resist....

.. don't mind me, just thinking aloud....

Delivery of the munitions is confirmed. The tracking number will be sent in a subsequent notice Blink

No, that's not what "limited" means.

If only 'n' plex spawn per day, then that's a limit in the most literal, accepted every day sense of the word. A limit of n per day.

It does mean that there's no upper limit on the accumulative number of drops, but there most definitely is a limit on the rate.

ok.

- 1 person can accept 1 mission at a time. This amount is limited by Eve Online population.
- 1 person can finish 1 mission in non-zero time. So rate of accepting new missions is limited by mission completion time.

Multiply of 2 limited values is limited.

Result: amount of missions given by 1 agent is limited.

Then we would call everything unlimited in EVE except T2 BPOs, limited issue ships and the like.
The point is, belts and anoms are "limited" because their amount do not scale with number of people running them. There's so much ore, ISK and loot belt can generate per day, no matter how much people live in that system. Streams of ISK, LP and loot generated by agents, on the other hand, is limited only by amount of toons server node which has that system assigned to it can handle before crumbling into TiDi, traffic control and the like.

It's more about goods generation rate being limited or unlimited rather than absolute amount on infinite timeframe.

And there I though we're talking about limitations that actually matter. If theoretically an agent output is limited only by amount of people that can milk it (and everyone in EVE can), then it could just as well be unlimited, it would make no difference.

Please, get down to Earth and start discussing practical matters rather than trying to impress everyone with your polemics skills.

the limit on the number of people who desire to pve anoms/missions is not relevant

neither is the number of anoms that could possibly be run by the time of the heat death of the universe, kittybear

Do you know the difference between a humanitarian organization and a drug cartel?

There is a reason there are Sisters of Eve and other "fringe" group missions in highsec - it's because they belong there. The angels really don't.

Amnesty International has offices in New York and London etc.

Mexican drug cartels don't.

But...then why do all these other 'good people groups' (because they base in hi-sec - wait I guess that makes hisec mercs good people too! nice spinoff!) have inifinite troubles with infinite amounts of the 'bad guys who don't deserve to be there'?
