Hello!

I thought of this idea, when i saw a corpmate do the webbing trick to a warping freighter.
Why not have designated ships for this?

Features for this ship could be:


  • Remote Travel Booster: Hi-slot module to improve align-time, velocity and warpspeed of other ships. Especially for freigters/caps
  • Warp-Gates: A 60 second charge-up mid-slot module that creates a warp-gate for poeple in fleet to instawarp through, to a designated target. Much like the acceleration gate, but instant.
  • Modulated stargate receiver: Place the towboat within 200 KM of a stargate, and allow fleetmembers on the otherside to jump to him. Can spice up the gatecamp mechanics.


Will be a great ship for indy characters to have, and makes freighting and capital ship steering a multiplayer game :)

No ... freighters (and JFs) make EVE small enough as it is. There is a reason "go to Jita" is the norm.

warp Gates -> learn to align. (aka, no)
Jump Gates -> no.

You realize that this will do nothing to make travel "multiplayer" right? ANY capital pilot worth anything has at least one cyno alt (and most of the time, more than that).

Maybe you misunderstood jump receivers.

You can only make a modulated receiver to the jumpgate on the other side. And you haftoo be close to the original receiving gate.
