The ability to assign drone groupings to F1-F8. This way when you lock a target you can hit the corresponding key and the drones will exit their bay and proceed to attack the assigned target. De-activating or activating a different group causes the previous one to dock up.

Reduced acceleration and deceleration times when warping.

Jumpbridges should have a jump button in the overview box just like jump gates do and acceleration gates. Anything that reduces right clicking is a benefit. I see the point of having "Jump to XXXX" in the right click menu as it allows us to check exactly what system we're jumping into, but it's not necessary to have this information every time. They are my jumpbridges, I know where they are heading to. In addition to this, it'd be amazing if we could have friendly jump bridges be visible on the overview systemwide, when we are not on grid. Would be difficult to implement though, I think, so it's a long shot.

Switching Faction/T2 crystals in lasers needs to be fixed. As of now, guns have a tendency to reload with fresh crystals which leads to having all of your crystals slightly damaged and therefore unstackable. Amarr pilots have a work around, by carrying a cargo container in their hold, but it really shouldn't be necessary. Also, when one crystal in a group breaks, the entire group stops firing, you have to load another type of crystal, then reload the original type, this in addition to the cargo container work around leads to lots of aggravation in the middle of a fight. Additionally, a reliable and easy way to check the damage of a crystal.

Fix the overshoot on the module timers. Sometimes, modules will begin to active and deactivation beyond the 6 o'clock point on their cycle timer. It's just plan annoying and looks sloppy, makes knowing when exactly cycles are occurring difficult.

I'd like to see some of the tag requirements in the LP stores removed, they can add up to be a large portion of the price of an item, if you don't happen to have them on hand. Also, why is it necessary to pay in isk in addition to LP? Seems like an odd requirement that you are required to pay for something they are giving you as thanks for your loyalty.

I'd love to be able to update skill queue without launching the client for times when I have to the internet, but not the client. But again, I think this is a significant update, and unlikely the sort of thing you are looking for.

All of the actions that are available right clicking on someone's name in chat and going to the fleet section of the right click menu as well as all of the options right clicking on someone in the overview should be available by right clicking on them on your watchlist.

Allow us to change the sorting method of the overview even when there are no items on it. Currently if you are in the lead up to a battle and have a reds only overview, you can't change what sort of organization the overview is sorted by, distance, name A-Z, name Z-A. Etc, because there are no entries on the overview.

Finally, a separate bracket for the person in the fleet commander location. Low to mid range computers can have a hard time running with all brackets on when in large fleet fights. It'd be nice to be able to exclusively see the FC and your distance in relation to him quickly during battle, without lagging out our clients with all of the brackets that come with enabling brackets for the entire fleet.

Edit: hope it helps, didn't expect that to go so long.

With regards to the suggestions for various timers, they could all be placed in a separate movable window, colour-coded as to their importance.

I'm thinking short-term timers, such as:

  • Session change timer
  • Aggression timer
  • Docking/jumping timers once you've gained aggression
  • Nullsec local timer (if that feature is implemented)
  • Downtime timer (perhaps just for the last 15 minutes)
  • Jammed, dampened timer (or perhaps this should stay associated with the current target selection indicators?)
  • PI "Submit" timers

Probably wouldn't be useful for long-term stuff such as POS timers (but I don't know how those work so, who knows?).

Perhaps audio cues for some of them as they near completion.

They could each display as a coloured progress bar, that "slides" to the left as they complete. Perhaps with the minutes/seconds overlaid. Perhaps flashing in inverse colours as they near completion.

Have options to allow ticking/unticking of timers to show. If ticked, they show in the timer window. If unticked, and they're considered vital, they show in the normal place (e.g. jammed timer just above capacitor), otherwise they don't show at all. Someone mentioned getting rid of the downtime dialog box - if ticked, that would stop that from showing, and place it in the timer window instead.
Perhaps also user-definable colours?

Also, in addition to the idea of separating the damage notifications from the important messages (such as warp scrambled, webbed, etc), also have the "damage-notification-message-box" in a movable window, with an option to specify the number of rows showing, perhaps with the older messages fading out a bit.

- Digit grouping for in-game calculator.

Trying to figure out if 100000000 is 100 million or 1 billion when playing with market and calculating prices is not fun. 100,000,000 is much more like it.

- Session change timer indicator for PI installation management. It does not exist, but it should be visible.

Could this be a relatively simple option to reduce the effectiveness of bots?

Based on comments I've seen, bots tend to warp off when someone enters local (don't know what criteria they use; neutral? anyone? non-blue?).

So what if CCP creates a "fake" entry in local? Something that pops into local of every system every 10-15 minutes? Something a human can readily identify as fake, but a bot couldn't?

An unpredictable name would be needed for a start, but that wouldn't stop the real humans from scurrying off to their little holes.

For the bots that read standing, the fake could have real negative or neutral standing, but a non-standard (or standard, but flashy) colour. Perhaps a special range of portraits that cannot be created in the character editor, but is difficult for a bot to read.

For bots that are adapted to read colour, depending on the colour palette used, there could be dozens of colours that look red or blue, but their specific RGB values would confuse the bots, especially if they were changed randomly.

I don't know if this would work in highsec - do they just ignore local, and only warp off if someone lands on grid, or shoots them?
Also wouldn't work in WHs - how many bots in W-space?

It's never going to be perfect - it just needs to increase the workload of those adapting the bots, which increases the cost (time/money) of using them. If they all have to suddenly migrate from simple standings recognition to full image recognition, tough **** - tell 'em to HTFU.

maybe a good idea to make it password protected, like if you are logged in on you friends pc with charactar A, that you friend won't be able to switch to character B or C to do anything stupid with it. so he wont be able to swith so another character with out entering the password of your account

Whether it's directors only can cancel, or only the job starter can cancel (like corp Market Orders), doesn't matter - either way fixes the problem.

This fixes a massive hole in probably a couple of lines of code.

When I place a Buy Order, the Buy Order window contains an icon (a looking glass) which opens the Market window with the item that is the subject of the Buy Order selected.

I'd really like a similar icon to appear in the window used for the Modify Order command. It'll save a lot of time for busy traders.

Please give people with a german keyboard layout to option to us their numpad.

What I mean by that is that, on a german keyboard numpad the "."(dot) is actually a "," (comma).

The imperial numbering standard is 1,000.99, and the german is actually 1.000,99 .

So, being able to use the comma as a dot when typing in market orders would be really great, and a neat convenience

Why can't empty containers be packaged into a small, compact, transportable unit? I mean, we're 8000 years in the future, what's EVE's equivalent to IKEA?

2. When I set a destination, it'd be so sweet to have the systems I pass on my route show up yellow in the market if they're on my route.

Dual Pane idea: Click!

1. One click jump to jump clone.

2. Add "show stats with skills" check box and unique items/ships to compare tool.

3. Drag and drop auto link from market to chat/notepad and compare tool.

4. One(ish) click change implant with dialog yes/no box.

5. Auto link while typing. if i type chimera it'll auto link it to the most comparable match.
Of course you should be able to turn it off in the esc menu.

6. Fix the "this might contain HTML" message which wipes out everything you have composed so far here in the forums. Popped up when I clicked preview.

Maybe make the compare tool easier to find. Like placing it in the little accessories folder in the menu bar.

Not trolling here, but how about they legalize botting for everyone? Mining is tedious and boring at the moment, so people either gunmine drones or use bots to supply the minerals that everybody needs. Imagine all mining barges being automatic ships, you give them a time schedule (much like the extractors in PI) and they just mine away in that time and try (badly) to evade gankers....

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Yet another vote for making the S+I interface less of a clickfest.

Corporate members list last online field should be an exact time + date rather than the current vague and frequently wrong info.

Remove the hard coded max lock range of 249km.

Would be nice if the drone window no longer auto-collapsed whenever you dock. Hella annoying having to expand the drone groups every time you undock.
