Hey,

So the last few months I been training random skills without aim. I would like advise on what I missed, I plan on working navigation for a bit but I feel like I skipped some important skills.

Thanks

I think the most important question is, what would you like to do? What activity in EVE interests you? There's a lot of things you can learn still, but unless you can tell us a bit of what you want to achieve, we can't really suggest what to train for. :)

Well I been aiming towards pvp mostly in t1 cruisers to see how it goes from there. My goal is to be a sub battleship all around player (t1) and branch out from there.

get the sensor compensation skills up, but seriously your skills are pretty good. It is more a question for you to get out there and start dying :) it is the best way to see what skills you are lacking. I for one have trouble when staring at someone elses skills as you tend to just not see the trees for the forest if you know what i mean.

Your skills are MORE then enough to start pvping, mine was a LOT worse when i started.

If anything I would get cybernetics up to 5. if you only pvp in high and low then the risk of losing implants is almost zero barring smartbombing battleships at the gate.. and there are a lot of good implants that need lvl 5

Finish training your subsystem to 5.
Shield upgrades to 5, very handy for squeezing on a lse instead of a meta 4 extender on some fits.
Train rig skills to 4, some have fitting benefits and also allows you to fit T2 variants.
Train all compensation (shield and armor) skills to 4.
Train thermodynamics to 4.
Train AWU 5.
Maybe all frigs to 5 then cruisers to 5.
You probably should have trained BC to 5 before the skills change as training them all now will take some time, so do that.

If still not sure after that, train all currently trained skills to 4.

I'm a big drone fan, so that's the first thing I see that looks *unfinished*
Get the easy V's there, and drone interfacing V. It will be a noticeable difference.

The rest of your skills look pretty nice.
You're kinda at that stage, where it's time to commit to some long V's or specializing in an area.
Perfect gunnery supports are nice to have.
Recon V is very a noticeable upgrade as well

Try and pick a ship you want to be 'perfect' in, and pick away at that goal.

I agree really, you seem to have all the needed skills. You just need to get the next levels of the ones you use the most.

Get the weapon support ones to V (either missiles or gunnery, what ever system you prefer using the most), get the rest of the shield skills to V, get your sensor compensation skill trained up. You should do Advanced Weapon Upgrades to V as well. There's a little bit of work to be done on the navigation skills. A nice one to get to V as well, is Thermodynamics. Sometimes it does mean the difference between a kill or a loss. :P

In small cruiser combat, weapon disruption and tracking disruptors are nice to have as well, so I would train that to IV at least. Rigging skills to IV will help you fit tech II rigs.

If you plan on using drones, you have a few months worth of training ahead of you there as well. Drones V, Scout drones V and Drone Interfacing V being the main ones there. Electronic Warfare Drone Interfacing V is nice to have as well.

You have all of these skills already though, so just get EVEmon (Available on BattleClinic here) and set up a nice plan for yourself to train these skills up further. :)

My advice if you dont know what you want, go for an even remap. (could even reduce charisma if skills using that your not fussed with)

Get some nice implants +3's if you can afford or even +4's

Training everything you can to 1, then to 2, then 3, then 4.

Once at 4, look for new skills to train that are now able to be trained, and repeat above.

This approach means you will half decent at everything!!

During this time, you may figure out what you want to do with your eve career, plan, remap and then train!

What do you want to actually do?

You're actually fairly well rounded already, but there are lots of 5's that I'd go for in there (I love my 5's).

I'd take the T2 ship skills to 5 as they make a massive difference... Interceptors, Logi etc etc.

If you're going to stick with Missiles then I'd certainly put 5's in the supports or like someone else said, put 5's into gunnery supports. It's important, in my opinion, to have all 5's in at least one weapon system supports.

You really need to give some thought to what you want to fly. The path you choose now will be a good 3 month program so you want to make sure it's in the right direction. The way I see if you have a few options (add T2 ships to 5 to relevant choice):

Missiles and Navigation
Gunnery and Navigation
Logistics
Ewar (warning, this is awesome, but massive sink).

at 38mil sp, you haven't 'missed' anything, you just have a crapload left to train.

Thanks for the advice guys, I decided to start specializing rather than have lots of half trained skills.
I'm sure the wait will be worth it in the end.

You are a lot like me, jack of all trades, master of none. I really should specialize but alas I've had to chase the FOTM for my group. My goal for the next year is to get largely nerf-proof.

Throw some focus into your navigation skills . They might be a little boring to train but it really makes your ships, all of your ships, much more fun to fly. You'll enjoy being more agile, faster, and doing so with less cap wastage
