I used to be bored mining ICE. Now Im bored looking for the ICE and bored mining the ICE. Two for the the price of one!! What an expansion!!

Well, I think we can make an exception for mining, although...I know people who do it for fun on a weekend....they might be outliers though.

Ok... "more fun".

As others have pointed out, you got into ice mining while it wasn't "fun" which doesn't make a lot of sense if you are playing a game to have fun but not having fun and still not having fun for quite some time (over a year)...

Figuring out what the hell your idea of "fun" would be should prove an interesting challenge based upon what you've said so far in this thread but one I bet few would be up for facing (vs just snickering and walking away).

It's not that you're too subtle for everyone; far from it. People get that you're complaining that ice mining is boring and that you want it changed back to the way it was, or whatever. It's that no one understands why you'd persist in doing something that is so universally considered snooze worthy. Do something you enjoy. EVE is full of people who love ice mining. If you move on to something else, the economy will stabilize, I promise.

Mining is exciting! Never knowing when someone will jump in a gank you, always with your mouse pointer on the jump button.. making sure you are always aligned. Did I tank correctly? will my cap run out? fun times. Roll

When were intrusion countermeasure electronics added to the game? And why do you get them by mining? Sounds more like something you'd get from invention or reverse engineering.
