2 x SP rate with Plex instead of second character training.

I don't want to expand -Topic name says it all.
Instead of training second character in same account with plex you could double skillpoint rate for the main one.

It's not about fine it's about giving better use of plex. Dual character training is the same as 2x sp. So why do you object such thing does it matter if you create another character or train your main?

Because it is a substitute for buying skillpoints and we have been over this a few thousand times.

The answer is still a solid NO.

This, a thousand times this.

Please use the search function before posting. This has been discussed many times on the F&I forums with the same result. Enough people know it would be detrimental for it to never happen.

If this will ever happen, i will leave this game instantly. I would drop it like a hot potatoe. A clear NO from me.

The game is dumbening down enough in the last time (scanning, security buttons etc.)

It's a game of decisions and consequences. Try something out, when you have fun with it, skill it.

The only thing of faster skilling that is maybe ok for me, is a (real) newbie account in the first 2-4 weeks to come faster in the game. But there is also a shadow side: alt chars from older players, that makes ganking to easy + cheap (+ destroyer buff) and nearly with no consequence.

They give you a Standard Cerebral Accelerator (and other stuff) if you activate your new account and select the racial bonus and that gives you +3 all over the map +20% rate of fire for missiles and 20% more damage to everything. It only works for 21 days from character creation so it's 3 weeks Big smile

No, no & a thousand times NO!

I can name several alliance-worth of people that will bio-mass their multi-year accounts and leave. Eve should never remotely come close to becoming pay-to-win (which is exactly what this will create).

You want a better character?... trudge thru the long training times OR buy a better one on the character bazaar.

(Did I mention NO?!?)

New Great idea. Make it so you can redeem a plex for a months worth on unallocated SP as often as you want. what could possibly be wrong with that.

Just allow a single redemption of PLEX for one month of SP per remap remaining.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

On the upside, scanning now at the same speed using a bomber as I was using a covops before those changes. Covops now is really amazing, it's not ''dumbening [it] down'', it's merely made to not suck huge donkeyballs as the scaninterface got wonderfully reworked. Pulling the restriction of astrometrics V off (which you needed beforehand to scan properly with DSP + 7 cores, or for 4AU-2AU cube quickscan) just made it a lot easier to use, more accessible - and with the introduction of scan upgrades requiring all V, former scantoons keep a HUGE margin of an advantage over a beginner.

And pls give the option to delete skills, like biomass your exhumer V over dt, fit into lower class clone - profit.

Thats interresting proposition, skillpoints allocation with Plex.
