I imagine they will save it up so they can use it to pad out the content of their next expansion.

At a minimum, release the hi-res textures and 3D models outside of the game, so that those of us creating awesome, fun, el coolio fan-art that support and promote your game, company, and fan-base can make things that look decent. :)
