Update to the Launcher and the repair tool - Fix inside!

To clarify I can download a clean install from that day. It will work fine until a patch.

Then the ONLY thing that works is redownloing the entire game again. (which they've updated)

They don't give you an option of MANUAL download. They just feed out like a link for the latest but what's the latest?

I had launcher version2.1.571330 sent to me.

All the "stickies" and help pages are dead or outdated for Launcher issues.

It's sorta sad for a paid game.

I believe that CCP owes us some free game time for this.

My time is very limited right now and having to download the game client is very, very frustrating no to mention the lack of response by CCP in the past couple days on this issue.

It seems it either works out of nowhere or you reinstall.

I can't find a good link where CCP ever solves this problem.

I can't. It's Either people saying it never gets fixed this 15% launcher issue and they just redownload entire game again.

From the last 4 patches 3 broke the launcher and my game! I'm downloading the entire game for the THIRD TIME in two weeks! Neither restarting nor repair nor cache cleaning nor anything else mentioned as walk around revived the game!

My patience is lost. CCP what did you do wrong? All the other patches went smoothly. Could you please undo this crap? Why should I pay for anything that gets broke by a 6 MB patch every week?

Every time I go to sleep after playing the game to wake up I fear to launch cause I feel the pain of seen that awful (incompatible error) which at that point my day just get dark. I have a 20mb+ connection but it takes about 6 hours to download the client per part. Is there something with ccp network? Please CCP I think we THE PAYING customers need some attention and some feedback.

Does not work, the process just hangs there and does nothign when it tries to download 1mb file

Tried starting the launcher and it sits on validating, tried running the program without the launcher via exefile.exe and game starts, and downloads a patch, the game patches and it says patch was successful, however login screen tells me imcompatible (protocol)
Every time I start the game, it tries to update and patch again. If I start the launcher it continues to sit on validating. Any idea whats going on? or a way around it?

In case you guys forget i say it once again: CCP, your launcher sucks. Every time there's somethign to update i need to use the repair tool, thing i don't find either ok or normal.
I know you boys adore broken toys, like all sick nerds, but this starts to be really annoying.Lol

Launcher problem. Apparently, this is something that happens regularly? Anyway, launcher tries to update and then error. Ran repair and failed.

That new Eve online launcher you linked worked perfect! Thank you!

Was getting eve online launcher v2.1.571330 Offline Mode, downloaded the new installer and it fixed everything.

CCP someone replied to my petition with a fail workaround, now i am stuck downloading the full client again. geeeeee, when will this end. At first he told me that the log that i provided indicated a problem in which the manifest.dat was the root cause, but the launcher download link that they gave me did not work as intended.

just feel lucky you can download the client. nothing i do, seems to find a website that works to download the game client again... my game was fine a day ago...

well what i found out was that today my launcher startet to run in "Offline Mode", what i found out was that the windows firewall settings was changed for CCP exeFile? after giving permission for "public" then running the launcher again it worked. But to be safe after runing the launcher once you should changed the settings back to only "private"

For the step by step guide:

1 go to control panel
2 open windows firewall
3 go in "allow a program or feature though windows firewall"
4 find "CCP exeFile"
(4.2) Remember to press "Change settings"
5 allow for "public" access (press Ok)
6 run the eve launcher, it should be fixed now.

7 close the launcher
8 go back and remove the "public" access for "CCP exeFile"
9 run the launcher again
