I give up

I'm trying to figure out which assembly array is required for R.A.M. Robotics and there seems to absolutely no resources out there that tells you which one to use short of buying them all and trying them one by one by one by one by .......

This is beyond stupid.

How difficult can it be to include in the Bill of Materials > Manufacturing section of a blueprint which assembly array(s) the blueprint can be manufactured in? The game obviously has enough information to show me a useless error message telling which which one it isn't.

I agree a field on the blueprint would be convenient. Unless and until that happens, you might try reading the Eve wiki page here:
assembly arrays

Short answer: you want a component assembly array.

Awesome - ty - that is exactly what I needed.

Not sure why google never pulled it up thou - I double checked and that website didn't show up anywhere in the first 30 or so listings.

Not to make the game like WOW, but this is the sort of thing that needs some of the most work.

You should not need to go to tons of outside resources to figure out how to perform basic game functions just because they are not related to shooting someone.

+1 I have mentioned this myself before on another forum thread ages ago.
