CCP announced a while ago, they want to rebalance t2 rigs. I did not read anything more, just this:

In the side note: small/medium rig BPCs in Magnetometric sites as drop. That is all fine, but are they aware, there are some serious issues with the current t2 production and how players use them?

- only a few of the rigs are used, usually more passive tank for bigger ships, maybe more powergrid, for smaller ships speed rigs or gun rigs, for haulers cargohold optimization rigs. That goes for t1 and for t2 even less, because for t2 it becomes a big price question.

- Rig BPs, especially small/medium rigs need almost no ingredients. One trick inventing small/medium t2 rigs was to take a 9 run decryptor, because the penalty does not matter. I.e. 30 % from 1 is still 1, if rounded. So a 10 run BPC had still the same numbers like a 1 run BPC. I do not think, this was intended, but this happens, if the guy, who created the BP data, is lazy...

- since only some rigs are popular, only some salvage parts are worth something, way too expensive, and the rest is dirt-cheap (btw. same in other markets, i.e. nanoribbons for t3 = broken market)

That is, what I want CCP to do:

1) they could take some t1 rig BPOs and rigs from the market, which are almost never used. Maybe introduce some new rig BPs, which create some more useful/used rigs.

2) somebody has to recheck the ingredients of BPs, I would say, higher them a lot for small/medium and thn large, too.

3) adjust drop rates of t2 salvage parts. Some definitely do not drop often enough and some drop so often, so they are no more worth anything. Currently the market is totally out of balance. Some rigs cost a fortune and are only used for Supercapitals. Many rigs, which are very popular as t1 rigs are not used, because the salvage parts are so exspensive, that only Supercapital pilots want to buy them. T2 rig market is very nische atm. or only supercapital rigs.

4) Recheck fitting requirements for rigs. If CCP want to make t2 rigs more popular for Sub-capital ships, players do not want to be annoyed from things like i.e. the t2 scanning rig (gravity capacitor upgrade) can only be fitted 1x on a ship.
